I own a Kuving and a Breville juicer. I bought the Kuving first thinking it's the best out there but it's not so. There's a lot of pulp coming out of the spout. The Breville type juicer, on the other hand, has a nifty pitcher that removes foams and pulp from going out the spout. It is also much faster, clean up much faster, and as far as heat is concerned, the spin cycle is so fast that there's no time for heat to build up. You'll be spending 3x more time on clean up with the Kuving than the Breville.
FYI, I bought the Kuving 700 model and the slightly older model Breville that looks like the JE98XL here on this video (Breville BJE510XL Juice Fountain Multi-speed 900-watt Juicer T1". As I said the important factors which I prefer the Breville over the Kuving are: FASTER, FROTH REMOVER AVAILABLE, CLEAN UP QUICKER. I don't see any downside at all. The talk about heat build up in the fast spin juicer machine just are not true in my opinion. I had cold apples thru the Breville and got cold juice out of it---in 2 seconds.

i brought mine about 10 years so.. still work... work great with hard foog like carrots.. but for softer or leafy green.. the pulp is still very wet.. feel like i'm wasting alot of food. especilly when i mostly buy organic. YES a slow juicer is much better for the amount of juice it can squeeze out.

I was thinking the same thing - 1hp is about 775 watts, so that would be 8525 watts which at 120v (common households in the U.S.) would be over 71 amps lol. Sockets are rated at 15 or 20 amps.
