- This is my latest wash routine.
I like to try out new products and alternate combinations but for right now, this is working pretty well for me.
I can go 3-4 days with this routine, sometimes even 5 before I want to recondition.

Don't cut it. Just leave it. Unless you like a perfectly round afro. When I first went natural, my hair did the same. l0l The front grew slow as hell. But it all worked out the longer it grew.

My hair looks a lot like yours 😍 Like anyone with curls, my hair smashes overnight, but my problem is that it's almost stiff and slightly dried out! How can I deal w/ this? I try putting in cremes and oils but the cremes don't work well through the hair to pull it out, and too much water too a mix will have my roots puffed out in like 1 or 2 days

I big chop 2 weeks ago and have the same length and texture as yours, but my problem is i have high porosity hair from damage of relaxers.😞Any tips on how to combat my dryness and have defined curls without it puffing up?

question for all of you guys : Do you prefer washing your hair at night or in the morning ? I prefer washing it at night but the big disavantage is that it doesn't allow my hair to fully air dry (cause i don't wanna use any heat on my hair) :)
I don't understand why the raking method doesn't seem to work for me.. Granted my hair is much shorter than this (only 1-1.5 inches) and I feel like I use plenty of product but all I get is a lumpy afro. #frustrated

It looks like you have courser hair than when you had long hair. You're curls seem alot smaller. How come?

Taylor Butler oh thank u! I didn't know she used relaxers, I thought she just straightened her natural hair.
Kim Parren she didn't relax her hair. She just had bleached hair for awhile, so maybe her curls were looser.
I think it's because her hair was bleached and she straightened her hair frequently so color and or heat damage?
Also the more length your hair has the curls can look more elongated bc it has more weight
