If you're not coming in with a CDL or college degree, you're starting at package handler and work your way up. $14.50 an hour with career potential is not bad for a no experience entry level job. I was delivering pizza and doing other thing I had to do that where very risky to feed 2 kids until I was 27. Found a company driving professionally in area but all good jobs are taken and or you have to know the right people. I looked at that same company nation wide and applied in NC where there was a need. Got paid training living out of motel making double what I was in training.. Family came down 3 months later. I went from 20k with 4 mouths to 50k in 4 months, after 3 years I begged for a transfer to Charleston wv and they did and by this point I'm making 70k. 6 years later 85k. G D I’m not sure I don’t have a degree in chemistry. It is from what I know better than biology, I have a friend that has a chemistry degree that works in a lab. Honestly though, I don’t know enough to give you a straight answer. You gotta know what you’re gonna do with it

I feel like the Dave Ramsey show should have a call screener that gathers all of the basic information from the caller before they even talk to Dave. They should have a standard form that they fill out with the caller's household income and debts and payments. The screener types all of that into a computer form and Dave sees it all on his screen when he takes the call. Then he could quickly review it with the caller and get right in to the question. And then he could ask more questions if need be. Sometimes it takes forever for the callers to actually describe their situation.

Its psychology to say it out loud on the air, it can help people begin to see the severity of their problem

Dave likely already knows... he asks so the audience knows their income etc.

It's a radio show! The entire format is to involve the listener. If there was no back story told during the call the listener wouldn't be interested. It's like watching a traffic crash scene...you want the gory details.
