    It makes me so upset when people put a thumbs down... I didn't see any reason for that, it is a beautiful cake, and the potty paper was so funny. Great idea... 🥰🥰🥰🎂🎂🎂

    I love the cheerful colors! I don't think most people understand the amount of engineering that goes into a tall cake 😎 Everyone always wonders why I have so many boba straws in my house. Uh ITs FoR CAkE DUH

      Haha right? It’s so funny to me that bubble tea straws also double as supports. When I was a kid I only used them for drinking bubble tea!!

      Ooooo that is tough to say as I’ve never actually measured. I do know I used 2 batches of my Italian meringue buttercream recipe which can be found here: czcams.com/video/T3kg6M2Q6hE/video.html

  • @brittblessed

    I have a question. Do you instruct the customers on how to cut this cake?
    Also, what size cake is this and how many servings does it yield?

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  Před 3 lety +1

      I do. I tell them there’s support in the centre so to lift the cake on top completely off of the dowel and cut the top cake separately from the bottom.
      It’s basically 2 six inch cakes stacked together. My 6 inch generally feeds around 8-10 so this could feed 16-20. 🥰

    A couple questions. What type of six inch pan 6x2 or 6x3? Also the board inbetween, is it A 6 inch or 4 inch board. Thank you so much.

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  Před 2 lety +1

      I can't quite remember what I used for the board in between, but I recommend you use a slightly smaller size so that it doesn't show through. For the pans, I use a 6x3 :)

      Thank you! I use either Fat Daddios (my preference as they don’t bend) or wilton’s (but I’ve had issues with slight bending with this brand).

    Hiii...can u suggest...is tall cake or this same cake is possible with whip cream

    • @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe
      @SweetDreamsBakeShoppe  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Amita! I've never tried it with whipped cream, but I would imagine it would be a little bit more difficult and less stabilized with whipping cream. I think I would ensure that the layers in between are filled with something more stabilized like a ganache and then you could go and cover the cake with whipping cream! Hope it works out :)
