With Covid keeping tourists out of Japan I found myself in Bulgaria eyeing the Todorka peak above Bansko. After a lightly sketchy hike I noticed a few signs saying the North face was closed in prep for World Free Ride Tour qualifiers so I ventured deeper in search of other fun features to play with.

Nice run! Is this from Todorka peak? Something like taking ski lift to Todorka and hiking to a highest peak of Todorka and then snowboarding on the right? I don't think there is easy way to get back if you go down the hill from Todorka...
Super easy actually, lift as high as you can, hike peak. I went down the backside you can’t see from the resort and it spots you out in a good spot to get back out/down near top of the gondola.
100% do this with someone who knows the area, I winged it like a dummy and got lucky but looking back up there are a ton of cliff line cut offs and bad areas you could easily get yourself into.
Amazing scenery and run man, how much of a hike is this. Assuming it starts at the top of Bansko summit?
Maybe an hour not a bad hike at all and Hayek from too lift
When was this? I’m meant to be headed out that way in a couple weeks but I’ve heard it’s not looking good out there rn. Great ride btw, got me pumped

Not to bad but 100% you need to know where to go or you could fuk yourself hard!
