A bit of info. That bardock was seen in past arcs/missions((for whatever reason, they decided to start the animated series AFTER what's arguably the most important mission/arc))). Basically towa and mira brainwashed a version of bardock with a mask, he was saved by Trunks and chronoa but they kind of....left him there? the mask gave him power, and bardock for whatever reason found himself taking it with him instead of discarding it. he'd eventually find himself in a three way battle between Pargus/Broly, the masked king((brainwashed/corrupted KING vegeta/working for the demon realm((towa, mira and friends)), and bardock. Bardock through force of will, put the mask on and used it's power to obtain super saiyan 3. eventually he'd meet aeos and she'd wish upon him more power.
super saiyan 4 bardock TECHNICALLY is old news but it basically wasn't official in sdbh, they just gave that to him in the game but he was never seen obtaining such a form in the actual story until now. Even Xeno Gohan has officially obtained that form.
oh, and Future gohan went super saiyan 2 in that moment, although that's a different future gohan than the one in the game that has him go super saiyan 3.
Wrong SS4 Bardock appeared twice in the SDBH story for the arcade. His first appearance was when a different timeline Bardock goes SS4 thanks to a time distortion in the Dark Demon Realm arc. His second time is when Xeno Bardock powers up to SS4 in order to battle Xeno Dark King Vegeta and SS4 Dark Broly during the final battles of the Dark King Mechikabura arc.
He has shown SS4 in the story years ago
this is the first sdbh episode i’ve watched in a long time since i didn’t really care about this series and the first thing i see is android 16 future gohan bardock perfect cell bojack yamcha and his girl uub hit olibu cooler frieza broly ssj4 goku and vegeta hearts and cumber as allies nail broly ssj4 and the u6 saiyans💀
