Why don’t we see more of that awesome guy?! Bobby Moynihan is such an underrated person. I’m glad he has a role in that new show and I hope it’ll put him more on the map for a majority of people.
I loved the show he had for a little bit where they had him as a kid and as an older adult too but it got cancelled 😕
I’ve posted a comment about this before on his appearance on Late Night, last year, but it’s still so insane to me with the amount of stuff he’s done since arguably 2015-especially when about 4 months after leaving SNL he did that Hollywood Bowl show with The Muppets-and all the praise he’s gained from legendary performers that it still feels like he should be given much more flowers than he has.
But it is rather refreshing that he still manages to have that humble teddy-bear “Aw, shucks.😊” disposition, despite or even because of it all.

Bobby Moynihan always has that ebullient energy of a close friend with whom, despite there being long gaps that can span years since the last time you’ve met, you can easily catch up & talk about practically anything for hours-on-end, staying invested the whole time because they’re so genuine in being happy to see you😊♥️
Something about having these two SNL Bobs last night as guests gave me such a comforting & wholesome feeling that people as kind & talented as them were able to achieve fame and you just can’t help but crack a smile for every new appearance (Crazy how much he’s done since leaving, five years ago…)
Moynihan in particular reminds me of a leaner-yet-equally friend-shaped & huggable Dom DeLuise; helps that they both have the same taste in hats🤣🐼🐯

I just started watching It's Always Sunny. Had no idea DeVito shows up in the second season and never leaves. I can't figure it. He's not an exec, a producer, or even a writer, he never directs, he's just THERE, and he's fucking brilliant. Guy's in his 70s and throwing down like a madman. Astonishing.
the network forced them to get a big name to boost publicity/ratings after season 1 of sunny. The guys didn't want him until they were told the only way the show would be renewed was with a big star being added. So glad he was added though franks the best! You have A LOT more of devito being absolutely hilarious if you just started sunny!

LOVE how many snl alums have been on recently. 🥰 Bobby’s the best!! current snl is great, but I’d give anything to go back to Seth’s era. 🥺
I think the current cast is starting to get better. But there was a huge gap of 9 years of it being meh. After 2013, it definitely went downhill. But Bowen Yang, and some newer people are helping it get better. They need more skit comedians, less stand ups. It’s not the same kind of comedy. More weird characters less impressions. The news update has always been funny, but the show itself suffered from the mundaneness of Kyle Mooney and Kate McKinnon. I just wish those two would leave so it could be a lot funnier.
