You have to read the like us series!!! The first 7 books are all AMAZING. The 8-10 books are not the best but definitely not as bad as everyone says they are. I still read them bc you have to read them to be able to read books 11-13 which are going to be the final ones and I think they are also going to be the best

1. Your hair is so freaking cute in this video.
2. The Temporary Roomie is a 2nd book in a companion series and it would be, in my opinion, worth it to read the first one before doing that one (I highly recommend them both). It’s called The Off-Limits Rule. I don’t know if you have access to Hoopla with your library, but the audiobook is on there. Then you just get some backstory on the characters and the couple form the first book are in it a lot.

Just finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy and I thought it was sooo good. It was my first fantasy series and I was worried about the world building and vocabulary so I listened to an audiobook as I read along with the first one and it helped so much! Once I heard most of the words and names, I just physically read the rest. Highly recommend 💕

I’m learning to read more fantasy lately (still not my genre but I’m getting used to it a bit) and honestly Caraval is one of the best books I’ve ever read! If you want a book with great plot and insane twists at every corner this is it. The second book was also brilliant and I can’t wait to read the third. The first one was so unpredictable, where it led was not even a suggestion in the back of my mind. You should put it in your April or May tbr imo because I want to hear what you think!

Don’t worry to bad about 46 books on your physical TBR. If it helps you feel better I have over 100 almost 200. All I Ask looks gorgeous! Six of Crows is one of my favorites and I read them before Shadow and Bone, but I get wanting to read things chronologically. I’ve wanted to try Mariana Zapata for awhile. I love Fine Print series’s covers.

the finlay donovan series is AMAZING
You should absolutely read maybe in another life, it’s soo good and underrated ! Literally my favorite TJR book next to the seven husbands, it’s very easy to read as well

Shadow and Bone was my very first fantasy series. I was also nervous about all of the different words and terms that would be in the series so I decided to watch the first episode of the Netflix show and that really helped me!! I was able to visualize those “different words” in my head while I was reading and it helped me understand the books more! I know there are fantasy series that don’t have TV shows or movies adaptions so I was lucky with Shadow and Bone😂

Caraval is so good, I personally think it gets better when you read into the other books part of the series. I’ve also read wilder girls which wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t a favorite of mine. It was definitely interesting and it had a good story to it. The shadow and bone series was a great one, also one of those that just get better into the series. I hate to say it but I wasn’t a fan of Six of Crows. I just couldn’t get into it, I haven’t read Crooked Kingdom but I’ve heard it gets better in that one. I hope you enjoy all these books though

I watched Shadow and Bone on Netflix last year when I had COVID not knowing there was a book trilogy!! The words, I’m assuming, are Irish considering the author is Irish American. Try watching the Netflix series as you are reading the book to help follow along. There is a middle book after the 1st book of the trilogy that plays into the Netflix series a lot more for the plot. ❤️🔥Hope this helps and your experience is great 💗💗 Marlene

I have read Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber which is a companion novel to the Caraval series..it's such a good easy to read fantasy romance..I think u should give OUABH a read you'll love it especially the chemistry between the main characters..💖
Also, The Worst Best Man put me into a reading slump but I hope you enjoy reading it...😅
