Have you ever heard of Kuwait? Well, this oil-rich country in the Middle East is home to the world's strongest (AKA most valuable) currency. It's called the Kuwaiti Dinar, and as of right now, $ 1 USD = .31 KWD. In other words, if you go to the ATM and take out "$100" -- you will receive 31 Dinars. This is largely due to the surplus of oil exports in Kuwait (they sit on 9% of the world's total reserves) -- and all countries need to purchase KWD to get their hands on this precious oil.
But what can $100 even get you in Kuwait? It's time to find out in this exciting video!
And stay tuned on my main channel this weekend, I have my favorite story of the year coming out from "the world's hottest country!!"

Grew up in Kuwait and some things are expensive but, the salary in the middle east is high enough to counter the expenses. The food is 10/10 and the city is beautiful. If anyone gets an opportunity to go then I recommend doing so as the people there are also very friendly.

I am from Bahrain which is world 2nd most valuable currency, when I visit Kuwait I can say that:
- petrol, cloths and hotels are cheaper than Bahrain
- while food is expensive, but food in fancy places is similar to food prices in avarage restaurant, so I always dine in fancy restaurant and that will make it looks more affordable to fancy restaurant in Bahrain
so yeah Kuwait can be affordable if you think smart đ
BTW food there is tasy no matter what, so u will never regret it regardless of the price

Stocks, bitcoin, forex and cryptocurrency are falling and bond yields are rising, but markets still don't seem convinced the Federal Reserve will pursue plans to keep increasing interest rates until inflation is under control. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio, what's the best way to take advantage of this bear market?

Just went through Norway on my travels and loved it. Like anywhere, you can make it pretty much as expensive as you want. Hostels and buying from the grocery store to cook yourself so on. Regular life though...
20 pounds for two small beers at a bar
15 pounds for a kebab at 3am
You also can't buy alcohol from stores after 8pm so keep that in mind if you'd like some but are on a budget.

As someone who lives in the state of New York I wish we were completely tax free. From sales tax to income tax. I was in Alaska this summer and thereâs no sales tax and no income tax. It was a breath of fresh air for sure. But never would I live in a state like Alaska. Brutal winters and the sunlight patterns would mess me up. Almost no daylight in the winter to never ending daylight in the summer.
If U.S is tax free, then how will they bomb brown Muslim kids?
Unfunny Crude Joke aside, tax in U.S is just for military and nothing else.
I'm originally from Central NY and I've lived in kuwait for many many years... love it â€â€â€â€
Living in Kuwait from last 15 years â€love you Kuwait đ°đŒ

I lived in Kuwait my whole life and itâs amazing
Kuwait is amazing great people and good food đ€©đ°đŒđ°đŒ
3:53 No taxes? Sounds like paradise!
You are always welcome to Kuwait â€
A few things I would note:
-while the KWD is strong, oil and lebanese food is cheap. It doesnât mean everything else is cheap. Food like sushi would definitely cost more. Buying land or an appartment is almost impossible.
-Since the weather is very hot and streets are not pedestrian-friendly, you need to make time to exercise. Which means you have to drive to and pay for a gym. Gym are expensive, it can go up to 60KWD a month. Any physical activity like squash, swimmingâŠetcâŠwill cost money.
- insurance companies donât function very well. If your car gets into an accident, youâre in for trouble (and public transport is not effective).
One more thing, families live together in Kuwait as a cultural norm (adult children stay with their parents even if they can easily afford a rent). And Kuwaiti people do NOT create babies before marriage and a stable job. So they work their finances with low risk and stability.
I just need to stress on that because I get foreigners who think Kuwaitis live in some free paradise without workingâŠand I think itâs an unfair judgement.
This! Yes we are blessed in many ways, but very unfortunate in others. Its nice to mentions pros and cons. People seem to be super defensive about the cons. But every place has ita own issues.
Lived in KWI for two years. Yes the KWI Dinar was 3.74 USD to KWI Dinar back when I was there. The best mall in KWI was Avenues. I had lunch at a mall was 9 KWI Dinar. Gas was about .90 per gallon.
Unfortunately food in malls is expensive, but outside of it its extremely cheap if you know where to eat
This is what happens to most of the people who exchange their homeland currency to dollar. They felt same as you do this time. Being robbed by American dollar.
Wellcome brother
I miss Kuwait so much đ I wish I could go back đ

Hey i am from kuwait I love your videos and Our country has the best food and for a whole burger in kuwait it is like cents.

$70 for Hummus and Falafel is crazy exp
I think the choice of restaurant is to blame for that. The cheapest place Iâve seen in kuwait to buy falafel where itâs goes for 32 cents for 6 falafels And itâs so good.
Itâs just the restaurant they chose there way cheaper restaurants like a full grill is just 7 kd $22.5
Kuwait is one of the best countries in the middle east am kuwaiti and if u wanna visit it you should ASAP especially in winter where the weather is cold unless if u like to feel hot u could always visit cause summer is 9 months in a year unlike winter that is 3 months only and our summer is REALLY hot so embraces urselfs lol

Im from kuwait, the only expensive things in Kuwait are mostly imported products, businesses need to make a profit from the spreads between getting the products like tvs and electronics and factor in thier shipping cost, which shipping companies will increase based on the gas prices. Ships and planes will need to increase their prices to account for fuel expense, so it ends up being more of a domino effect. Things made and grown IN Kuwait like ice cream or water or food meat veggies, coke, pepsi, etc, is cheap, gasoline is cheap..so it depends

To be fair... that restaurant is more on the fancy side. You could easily have a very large very filling hearty healthy meal for less than $3. Chickpeas pot ($1), a pot of aash - a vegetable and bean stew ($1). 5 large Irani breads (30 cents). Those 3 wouls be enough for 2 people with a few breads extra.
You can even have falafel sanwiches (30 cents each). Samosas and other fried street foods (some 10 pcs for 30 cents)
I am from Kuwait đ€Șđ
Have 1 dinner in Kuwait = have 20 quality meals in Pakistan!!!! đ”đ°......
That's so expensive đ
been in Kuwait, now in KSA. can't get over with Kuwait. Here we have taxes, Kuwait don't. It's a lot cheaper to buy any stuff there compared here even on holidays were you can get offers.
I bet it was cheaper than my home country. But expect higher prices on commodities that the state can't produce, since there are import taxes and those are perishables.
