@@projectmanager6423 The annexation was more or less on the cards either by china or India , sikkim was not only vulnerable alone but to India as well given close proximity to chickens neck. I 100% agree that aspirations of sikkimese should have been given more importance.
@@projectmanager6423 how do you expect democracy from India when it's all annexation. Sikkim iswas a frontier country. The downfall were the people who caused this. It doesn't matter what intention it was carried out through. It's clear that Sikkim folks who wanted autonomy but democracy lacked understanding that China and India were eyeing for a stake in the Himalayan kingdom.
@@a141tho2 The Chogyal meddled with Tibetan affairs because the royal family is heavily Tibetan in ancestry when the Tibet officials were conspiring with the CIA against China. That's why the Chogyal couldn't maintain good relations with China especially when things between him and India were getting tensed.
