I hate music that is produced these days but this song gives me hope that good music can still be created. All the bands I used to like are now unable to produce any material at the same level as before (Blink, Greenday, Libertines, RHCP) but Metric still hanging in there 👍🏻

This right here is one of the best songs i've ever heard period. Just listen to how the opening pops up with the bass and the drums, as if the first 10 seconds were a completely different song. And then the dance between the vocals and the bassline. The drums allowing for the full set of layering to mesh so well together as to almost sound generic but completely non generic. And then the synths at the end with cadences so sweet, gentle and powerful that only they could serve as codas for what preceded them. Doing the same dance that the vocals were doing with the bassline. Its absurdly well done.
Absolutely mesmerizing. Every time I listen this album keeps changing what track I like most, now it's probably this. EDIT: And even whispering Formentera at the end, very subtle but still noticeable, beautiful mixing there!

To be honest, this sounds awesome right here on CZcams with my Yamaha receiver 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos setup. The two subwoofers love the deep digital bass and the Atmos bouncing off the ceiling really gives the sound 3d depth. I like records but the signal to noise ratio is pretty low compared to digital in my dumble opinion 😉 🤔 😜 😄

I kind of overlooked this song my first few times through the album... and now I'm listening to this one track over and over again. Maybe it's that incomplete feeling, like the song doesn't end.

This is such a beautiful melody ... I listened to it the last 2 mornings...first song I played of each day. And looked up at the blue sky....the tree line of the woods in my backyard and just was moved to a really good place. EMILY has such a wonderfully angelic sound to start the day....however, at the end , the very last synthesizer dark, falling sound? I am going to mute or skip in my a.m. music ritual. Lol. 🤣😅💞
