If you still have a Dreamcast why on earth would you purchase a mini? All these mini consoles are just shitty overpriced emulators made for dirt cheap looking to cash in on nostalgia, the casual market and grandparents looking for presents for their grandkids. I could kind of understand if you didn't have the actual console (even then the best option is buying a Raspberry Pi and making your own retro console) but you do have the actual console so. Don't take this as a personal attack (like many on the internet do when you question them) I just don't get it. I love my Dreamcast and my NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PSX, PS2, Master System, Genesis, Saturn, TurboGrafx 16 etc for that matter and I'd much rather play them and collect for them than use some shitty emulator or even a good emulator or play re releases of their games on newer systems especially smart phones.

Been playing myself more than 20 years, off and on id say. Just started again recently, though it's episode 1&2 on my modified Wii. I bought a modded Sega Dreamcast from. E Bay a few years ago, and I will never trade it in again.

Yes. It was the only console I considered owning after I became a PC gamer in the 90s. Even though I never got the chance to own one many great Dreamcast games are available on Steam now and are among my favorite games to play.
I had this system and probably one of the best systems I've had; I was so hurt one day I went to EB game store to buy a new game and when I purchased a game they told me that they were discontinuing the dreamcast. Man this broke my heart, this was the best Sega product to ever come out. I was a Sega dude.

Dreamcast assim como o sega saturn NÃO duraram muito tempo na praça, apesar te terem processadores muito bons para a época, porém foi a linha PlayStation que vingou. O saturn tinha dificuldades para lançar jogos. Um exemplo foi a série Resident evil, tive que comprar um PlayStation na época para jogar R.E 2 e 3 que NÃO foram lançados para saturn.

Dreamcast COULD'VE stayed around a bit longer THEN it'd have games to boast about as well. now..in the long run..who knows if they'd update like the ps2 did. Maybe even rebuild or add on to the console.

Hahahaha! I admittedly would love to try that for curiosity's sake, just like Sega Bass Fishing. Had it been nearly 20 years ago, I'm sure they would attempt an ant farming game or something similar. Sega was always known for trying something different and out of the ordinary. The result would either turn out awesome or terrible. Sega Fishing games turned out surprisingly fun and intense. I admittedly love those games.
I was shocked how much we loved the Bass Fishing demo, when my sister bought the full game for me as a gift it became something our whole family played! Part of the fun was just how outrageous it was 😂 I remember rumors of a sword fighting game being developed for the Dreamcast that would use the Fishing Rod peripheral. I think it was even in one of my Dreamcast Magazine issues. I think that would have been amazing! Which reminds me, I need to get Beat Saber 😃 An ant farming simulation could have been interesting, with the Sega touch.

I absolutely loved Sega consoles and the Dreamcast was epic, I had a lot of these games and metropolis street racer, ready to rumble boxing round 2, virtua tennis, sonic adventure 2 and soul calibur were among my favourite games along with sega rally, f1 world championship 2, resident evil code veronica, dino crisis and house of the dead 2, and who remembers uefa dream soccer?... wow the memories!!!

Robert Stevens I can't remember what the dc controller was like to hold. You could play on null dc pc emulator with an xbox controller.

Flavio Neto I like VS2, but it didn't work on my emulator.
I was expecting VS2 too, I use Redream emulator and it runs perfectly, while I always got problem trying to run any game in Null
