Sushi Lunch @ Addiction Aquatic Development

We watched many CZcams videos and read many reviews about the Addiction Aquatic Development in Taipei, so we decided to pay a visit today. We walked around the market. The market was nice, organized, and pretty clean; however, it was a little bit confusing in the entryway. Look for the entrance signage before trying to enter the market. It has only one way in and one way out. The ready-made foods area is the busiest and is highly congested as it’s closed to the checkout area. Also, video recording is not permitted inside the market, so turn off your video.
We walked through the market and picked out a bunch of sushi and sashimi to try. The sushi and sashimi tasted alright. Nothing special. But the freshness was missing too. I am not sure how long the fish had been sitting, and the preparation may not have been handled with the utmost care. I’ve had better sushi elsewhere.
At the market, seating was limited. Most stand-up tables. The only available seats were in front of the development, but most of the seats were actually in the sun, so if you come there on a hot day, it will be very unpleasant.
Technically speaking, the development is just an upscale, high-end grocery store. I don’t recommend going there because the price was high for average food. Also, I didn’t find the seafood very fresh there. Thank you so much for watching, and stay tuned for more upcoming videos.
