But at the same time, for parents like Laura and Olivia, any parent who feels a strong bond or connection with their child, they’re not going to give up on them, especially if they feel there is that sliver of a chance, or that small glimmer of hope. They are also the parents’ blind side. Currently, that deceitful side of Nikolas that Lulu is mentioning has been showing up a lot. There’s no doubt he’s plotting to not only divorce Ava and get the money and estate back, but furthermore, likely to be plotting to separate Franco and Liz. On that point, I do not approve, not simply because I am a fan of Friz, but mainly because love based on deceit or some form of plotting is just wrong. I would rather he earn Liz’s love the honest way, by being the Nikolas she knew from way back before all the plotting began, when Nikolas was still very noble. At this point, the Nikolas I see before me appears to be mainly a snake, and barely the Nikolas that was noble. As Luke stated once before, it looks like the Cassadine genes have finally won out, and taken over. As for his handling of the Ava situation, maybe if instead of constantly creating friction and plotting, he actually tries to get along with Ava, work with her and such. Just saying maybe get on her good side and such, genuinely, and let her be the one to decide to give up the estate and money. Maybe also have her understand Spencer, if he truly feels Spencer needs all the inheritance. While Spencer does have expensive taste, maybe what he really needs is to adapt, and be happy, even without such expensive things. Either way, there are better ways for Nikolas to handle his situation.
