Also, Nelle is the one who gaslit Carly, Nelle’s the one who drugged Sonny to make him think they slept together, Nelle is the one who tried to kill Michael in a car crash, and she is the one who came to town to seek revenge against Carly for all of her perceived grievances. Nina spoke the real truth when she told Nelle that she is the one who set out to ruin Carly’s life and not the other way around. However, she can’t be expected to just let Nelle get away with all of her schemes against her family.

Sonny and Jason have done the same. Michael repeatedly defended Nelle, especially when it meant going against Carly. Nelle is obsessed with Carly. She never loved Michael. It was all about getting revenge against Carly. Nelle is a narcissist and a sociopath, who never takes responsibility for her actions. She murdered her first fiance, she tried to kill Michael, and she almost killed Brooklyn. She also described Wiley as a meal ticket so she can get whatever she wanted. She's a great villain for the show, and the actress did a great job portraying her. Don't be delusional and act like she's a victim. Michael gave her plenty of chances. Carly gave her plenty of chances at the beginning.
