Not really. 1 or 2 seconds is a huge difference in a sprint. He could have done it in 13.7 or 13.5 not quicker than that and even that's like a mile away to 12.

I ran a 14.5 in a local track meet a few years ago when I was 48. I remember being really disappointed because I could run a 12.5 back in high school. I was a distance runner--not a sprinter. Now, after watching these people, I feel better about myself!
14.5 is alright for sure dude...12.5 is really fast wow.
Being 48 and still running that fast is still impressive though. Of course you're going to be slower than back in high school in your prime when you were running all the time.

I mean except for gas to get there, but cmon, there's a few tracks in LA open to the public I know of that they could've gone to 🤷🏻♂️ oh well, though, wouldn't really have changed the video, none of them would've beat him. But as a track athlete myself, I would've liked to have seen them actually at a track and maybe actually in some athletic clothes taking it seriously, they still wouldn't have been close, but would've been fun to see what they could do.

Was definitely not expecting that performance out of Michael and Zach, especially with the sharp turn. Without it, Michael would've finished within 12-13 easily. With professional training he could actually be an Olympic-level contender, where the 100m preliminary contenders are finishing at 10.5-11.5 seconds. Zach's also gotta have some seriously impressive leg strength to run sub-19 at that bodyweight.
