The dreaded MOT test took many "classics " off the road.
I used to run a car repair shop in Missouri, a state with a safety inspection law.
Most cars passed, having no issues. 9 out of 10 that failed would fail for things like a 3rd brake light out. However, there were some truly dangerous cars that failed.
Too many negligent owners.
These cars have probably come back several hundred times over the years.
As fridges washing machines. Coke cans. And other cars.
£2 for a drivable classic. Ummm and we worry we throw away stuff too liberally.
You have no idea how inflation works, do you?
@@RampantFury925 oh yes I do. It's the over printing of fiat currency. You have no idea how irony works for you...
Oh! The irony. I'm watching this as I wait for the salvage company to arrive to take away my car that was written off two weeks ago. 😢 Thankfully, I'm getting more than £2 for it. Even more ironically, 2 days after the accident was when the car was booked in for its MoT!
