When I was a little kid, from the early 1970s to the early 1980s and a teenager from the mid to late 1980s, it was never allow a baby to sleep on her or his back because she or he could choke on her or his spit up, and in the early 1990s it was o.k. to lay her or him on her or his side as long as her or his nose and mouth weren’t covered up. In the late 1999s to the present a baby should lay on his or her back and not on her or his stomach and or side. It’s crazy how it changes about once every 15 years.

Science have proven that more babies dies on belly than on back. And that best is sleeping sack - baby can put blanket on its mouth. If baby sleeps with blanket or in cocoon you need to look all the time if they can breathe.

Remember when infants are sleeping back is best! Never lay them on their stomachs or side especially with a blanket rolled up and placed around them bc their face can get buried and they will suffocate, and that can end with SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)😢

I agree. Our baby died from cot death. He was found with a muslin bunched near to his face. The agony of loss lives with your forever. Keep a clear cot. No loose bedding or toys.

@@moonflowercliparts9995it depends on how old your baby is honestly🤷‍♀️ if they cannot roll over or move things from their face that makes them uncomfortable then no but for older babies that are struggling to transition out of swaddling or sleep training and can roll over and push things away from them that make them uncomfortable, other than the second one, it may be worth a try
