I took Care of a man from the CIA who lost his memory..not amnesia but a rare type of dementia,he doesn’t know pain and,I could tell he was very smart,he spoke 7 laguages,English,French,Mandarine,Russian,Italian,German,..the wife told me,he was drugged and eventually lost all hs memory,they had to change his whole Identity including the family.. he passed away last year..

Well that’s because no one that’s alive today witnessed slavery in America ? Slavery was abolished in 1865. From the time America became independent on July 4th 1776 slavery was legal up until the end of 1865, for 89 years it was legal in this country. Slavery is absolutely horrendous and anyone who believes in it is an evil piece of trash. However us people in America are not responsible for what happened in the past, it is not our fault for what happened. Slavery in America was around for the least amount of time out of every other country in the world where its existed and still exists. I don’t see a lot of people looking at the source of where this all started , it was the people in Africa that owned the slaves and then sold them to people in America. It’s fckd up on both sides but I wonder what would of been different if Africans didn’t own and sell slaves. It’s like how drug dealers can be arrested if they sell a drug to someone and they die because of it
Most people like to consider evil as the foreign other, rather than as a part of the dualistic nature of every person. It's also worth noting that just as gore is hard to look at, bad ideas are hard to consider, no matter their extance. And most people live sufficiently distracting and sequestered little lives that these little hiccups become massive hills. It's also important to consider how media exposure and education affect such things, and the CIA has at least had an effect on media exposure (and maybe education, too). Thus nobody is granted the necessary impetus to unfuck themselves while getting fucked.

The Milgram experiment conducted at Yale should have given pause to any crossing the line over to torture for information. The best way to get information is to befriend somebody, not torture them to the point of saying anything you want them to say. You end up with a bunch of lies from the tortured, and that's exactly what happened.

Dale Greene proprietor for Hand and Stone located at 441 Elizabeth Ave Somerset who said he was sorry when a report for missing money was provided to Officer Quigley while I worked with then former co worker Eric Rodriguez following the chords of the State. Meaning the dictates of the State should be investigated . you made a choice. To choose money over humans allegedly you should absolutely be investigated. So, they basically tortured a guy for 10 years, because they were too incompetent to tell that the guy was telling the truth. I was sleep deprived, meaning no dopamine or serotonin released, I felt like I was on a continuous epinephrine drip. I never felt sleepy. This went on for 4 years. The only thing that provided relief was listening to the bible on CDs. I had to take huge doses of setatives to sleep but I would never go through REM sleep. Absolute torture. That is how I learned about MK Ultra.

The Geneva Convention does not apply to captured terrorists. The Geneva Convention is only applicable when belligerents on both sides of a conflict are signatories to the Geneva Convention.
Is not "torture" considered a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law? By the way, Japan never ratified the Geneva Convention and yet many of it's generals were executed by our American military for committing numerous war crimes, including waterboarding and torturing allied POW's.
However, even if neither the Geneva Convention nor any other international treaty directly applied, what does engaging in "torture" speak about who we are as a people and a country? Should not our country be a standard bearer for fundamental principles of democracy, decency, justice, and human rights?
