It did not get much attention excepting lipsympathy from a few nations. No US sanction, nothing.
      Lankans keep harassing fishermen.
      Tamils are isolated and ghettoed. Even the promise of some concessions has gone into oblivion. Lanka is just thriving on tourism, some Tea, some overexploited fish. Prabhakaran would have been the devil (or a good devil or freedom fighter) but not all Tamils. The Tamils migrated to Lanka, blame the British, to give labour support to Ceylon.
      How many Lankans remember IPKF Rajiv Gandhi and others sacrifices? India had world s No. 1 GDP but the invaders looters colonizers spoiled it all. Yes, some of the retrograde measures of politicians had also spoiled it. Yes, it is high GDP or whatever jargon one can use with highest inequality and dangerous sustainability (which is showing up in natural disasters). As people get educated skilled empowered there will be a sea of challenges, including from energy, natural resources like water and raw materials (many of which were plundered by the English women and English men whose economy itself is in doldrums; where the sun refuses to rise on economy).

      With a Rising GDP, but Slow Consumption and Low Savings, Is India’s Workforce Thriving or Surviving?
      Ahead of the Lok Sabha election, the crisis of unemployment unites India as few things do. Why are important sections of India out of work? How do unemployed Indians live? Why is the work available not enough to earn a livelihood? How do Indians secure employment? How long is the wait?
      Several economic indicators reveal a narrative at odds with the government’s portrayal of economic prosperity.Data on vehicle sales, dwindling consumption demand, high borrowings, diminishing savings, declining rural demand, unpaid labour, low-quality jobs, a declining labour rate.
      Indians are managing to sustain themselves with their current jobs, rather than thriving under the government’s ‘Viksit Bharat’ initiative.
      if FMCG(Fast-moving consumer goods) sales are sluggish, household savings are declining, and borrowing levels are soaring, it may suggest that workers are facing challenges in sustaining their living standards and may be merely surviving rather than thriving.
      The trouble is we haven’t had a consumption survey. There was a consumption survey for 2017-18, but the government ditched that one because they didn’t like the results. A leaked version of that survey showed that rural consumption had actually fallen over that six-year period, from 2012 to 2018. And since then they have not had a consumption survey. They’re supposed to be doing one now, but we’ll not get those results for at least another year.
      why would you not do a consumption survey? Because those surveys tell us how many poor people are there are in the country, where they are, what they do; they tell us about distribution, because these give us some indication of who can consume what.

      The "west" has killed more of their own peoples fighting eachother than britain ever did in india.
      Its high time that indians start ro realize that global politics isnt about emotions but policy to get the best for ones own country. There are no true allies or enemies.

The Indian Union Public Service Commission has also delivered a remarkable report titled संघ लोक सेवा आयोग *How Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. Chronology of British Raj's exploitative policies* | UPSC," is equally astounding. The Indian government consistently produces insightful and thought-provoking articles of the utmost caliber. I sincerely hope they continue to produce such captivating exceptional work. Can it even get better than that? It should deserve an award for best report of the year. Thank you for telling the truth. Your show was really entertaining and I adore your passion

      @PraneeI Před 4 měsíci +2

      The two main policies that wiped out 1.8 billion Indians are:
      1: Allocation of food: Since the British were at war all the time, they didn't have people to do the farming. They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week.
      2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion.
      The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.

    • @PraneeI
      @PraneeI Před 4 měsíci +2

      Drawing upon my expertise in the behaviors and nesting habits of Indians, I can definitively state that Indians did not resist the invaders; instead, the invaders, including the British and various others, eventually withdrew when there is nothing left but a population of one billion Indians grappling with poverty and illiteracy-a challenging situation that nobody was eager to tackle.

    • @PraneeI
      @PraneeI Před 4 měsíci +2

      The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).

    • @PraneeI
      @PraneeI Před 4 měsíci +2

      1.8 Billion makes sense. India today on average loses 10 million people per year due to natural cause or illness. So in 200 years they would lose 10million x 200 years = 2 billion people. Imagine 1757 - 1947 times when India didn't have any healthcare like today and life expectancy was much much shorter with mass malnourish (Bengal Famine + 15,763 other major famines) and were forced to work to their very bones losing their lives in the process.

    • @erabhikdasgupta
      @erabhikdasgupta Před 4 měsíci +2

      GVA data shows consumption was poor even in a quarter which had Diwali and World Cup.
      No one is doubting these numbers. India never fudged numbers, we are not china.
      Indian growth is happening but it is not benefiting the median income groups. It is benefiting the lower strata of people and the toppest strata of people.
      The Ambani, Adani, Tata etc are taking money from government because government has money (GDP and GVA shows that) and not you and I. That money that govt has is not boosting consumption, because these businesses arevtaking the money and investing offshore in buying American, Chinese and European nation now that they are in technical recessions or slowdowns.
      Indians growth can be even better if strategic investments are done in emegerging nations and even in India.
      Govt has lowered revenue expenses which means less people in Mnrega, less government jobs, burdening existing exployees but not rehiringfor vacancies from retirements.

      @@erabhikdasgupta Your kind of Layftist Socialist economic thinking and related policies sinks economies as happened in India for first 50 years after independence. When Ambani and Adani set up businesses and factories it is not just their children who work there, it is 1000s upon 1000s of people from every income bracket that work there.
      Your conclusions are highly flawed GVA growth rate of 6.5%, is by no means poor it was just lower than 7.7% in Q2 but that it is because rationalization in prices of fertilizers and not slowdown in consumption. If GVA had been calculated based on consumption it would have been even higher. India is the fastest growing global economy and is growing rapidly even in the middle of a global slowdown. India's middle class is massively benefiting from Indian growth story. Small example, India has gone from having just 104 million smartphone users to 931 million smartphone users. That is a 9 fold increase in number of smartphone users in Bharat in just 10 years and you think middle class in India is not benefiting... what comedy...
      Drawing conclusions about the economy by ignoring massive increase in Tax revenues and drop in Subsidy expenditure as is being suggested by Bloomberg is a nonsensical notion. The motive here is political, rather than economics. Bloomberg is aligned with Democratic party and Western Layftists who want Modi gone and Biden to stay. These numbers make Modi look very good and Biden look bad, obviously more targeted articles from Western media and then cohorts in India can be expected in coming days.

    There are few issues in the GDP growth of India and we need to take actions on the same. The issues are as follows
    1. The largest contributor to GDP growth is governmental spending. This is the reason for the unemployment rates even after such high GDP growth
    2. Beyond target inflation rate (two to four percent is the target)
    3. The lower than expected growth in the manyfacturing sector. The manufacturing sector has the capacity to employ a large number of people, including unskilled labour.
    4. The rural-urbal devide in India.

    • @user-eb4fb4fc4g
      @user-eb4fb4fc4g Před 4 měsíci +8

      1. In first statement you said that government expenditure is the largest contributor to GDP growth but it is not true man , look service sector which is the largest contributor in Indian economy and in this sector most of assets is owned by the private players

    • @user-eb4fb4fc4g
      @user-eb4fb4fc4g Před 4 měsíci +2

      And about employment we all know very well government act as a welfare agency in government spend or invest more the private players employment rate should be much higher than this.

    • @hrushikeshavachat900
      @hrushikeshavachat900 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @user-eb4fb4fc4g Services is the largest contributor TO GDP. Government spending is the largest contributor to GDP growth. Contribution to GDP and contribution to GDP growth are two different things.

    • @hrushikeshavachat900
      @hrushikeshavachat900 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @user-eb4fb4fc4g The governmental spending on capital assets doesn't create long-term employment unless it is followed by increased investment by the private sector. The private sector investment is yet to take off, and hence, we are seeing the large rates of unemployment. The private sector is the largest employment generation sector when considered as a whole in any country. I am not comparing on single entities as I know Indian railways is the largest employer in the world. I am saying employment generated by the government, including PSUs vs. employment generated by private sector.

    Forget about the actual numbers which we will see later, there is reason to celebrate and to be proud of that our economy is growing fast in comparison to rest of the world. Naturally there is bound to be some heart burn since most of the European and western countries are on the brink of recession. These figures the government just released might be provisional and the final figures we get to know later. Our GST collections have crossed 1.6 lakh crores and direct tax collections are at record high. Non tax revenues have also registered substantial increase. On the whole we should be happy that the government is presenting a rosy picture which other countries are finding hard to digest.
