Damn dude..... Did the thought of "What could possibly go wrong" ever cross your mind. :) - Dang good driving. This is one of those videos that should come with a "Don't try this at home" warning, otherwise you stand a very good chance of making one of the "4WD Fails" videos. :)
WOW, I have been in awe of your Trailhawk videos since first discovering them! I have a 2106 TH as well. Have never done anything quite as extreme but it is nice to know what these machines can handle, and in stock form, too! Where are you located that you have such great off road areas?
I feel like it's because they don't articulate at all but are traction control beasts, so those willing to three-wheel the thing everywhere make some great videos. But that three-wheeling everywhere thing was the same reason I sold mine lol
Lol y'all people.. Any 4x4 will do this ..this a good driver all it is .hope your didn't waste thousands on one because of yt videos lol.any 4 wheels drive with the right driver can do many things !.even an old pos under a grand if the 4 x 4 still works
Very nice work. It looks great. I'm not quite that talented. You should market that through smitty built or something. I'm positive there would be a market for it
Can you do a video on the front bumper. I’ve been watching all these videos to try to get a better view of it. I walk around or close up explaining what you did to make it would be appreciated. Thank you
It wasn't a PTU setting, it was his buddy dropping a couple chunks of rock in front of the drivers side rear tire to lessen the climb. Without that he wasn't going anywhere. Kind of, sort of cheated...
I said to my wife many times to never ask me the question to choose between her and my jeep obsession because she won't like the answer :) Jeepers can relate... #itsapassion
I bought my 1st 93 YJ wrangler from an older lady in my church. I found out later that her and her husband wheeled the hell out of it. They did NOT seem the type.
I buy only used cars...but I always ask the owner about the use. If the owner says me is the use like in this video is not a problem... However the manteinance must be perfect. A 4x4 vehicle is for off Road. Not mall crawling. Honesty is always better. So I will be prepared for futures arrangements or aftermarket etc
My mom has a 16’ Cherokee Limited with the standard awd system, and it has to get out of the driveway after winter thaw, which means no gravel on the road, and a ton of mud! Hasn’t been stuck yet, and that road has gotten almost every vehicle I own stuck! That includes a 2013 Jeep Rubicon, and a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. The difference is both started in 2wd before they were stuck.
This is why I want a kl th over a wk2 limited..... but I want that extra towing capacity of the wk2.... uuhhggg, adulting for over 25 years and it's still hard lol. Decisions decisions
Or buy a Chevy Colorado zr2 ..same money , front and rear lockers, it will leave this set on any trail , more towing , and main thing its not a mopar / Chrysler/fiat product
do this knowing the insurance company will never pay for damages without a proper accident report...race tracks and off roading are against your insurance agreement... Basically they go out of their way to find ways not to pay you and this is a big one...
Could I do this with my latitude. Its 2018 and has no skid plate. Im aware I would need the plates. But what other things would I need to do besides learn how to drive like a beast.
The latitude would be pretty difficult as it doesnt have the lift or locking diff. I would start with offroad tires first and foremost and def skid protection. Locker isnt as important I've done most of moab with just the traction control of my 4runner. Modern systems r great
He made it up without airing them down so who cares. Tired of seeing these air down comments on every video. They fucking know they can air them down but didn’t want to.
If that's what you believe, then you must think that the way Jeep tests its vehicles is abuse also. The Trailhawk-badged Jeep crossovers were meant to be taken off-road, and it may struggle a bit here, but they are designed to survive such use with their factory skid plates and optional rock rails.
You cheated!! Let the driver figure it out....he could've taken a different path but we'll never know if he really could have conquer without the help of someone else...two thumbs down.
I guess since I’m making KL videos that I’m getting this in my recommended... love it!! We need to find something like this for Sean’s KL!
Wow, a lot more capable than I thought they would be!
Maybe next time, air down your tires to about 20psi, then you’ll get more grip on those rocks and your wheels won’t spin as much
Nice recovery on the hill climb brother. Great work by your spotter too! Keep on pushing that capable machine!!
Damn dude..... Did the thought of "What could possibly go wrong" ever cross your mind. :) - Dang good driving. This is one of those videos that should come with a "Don't try this at home" warning, otherwise you stand a very good chance of making one of the "4WD Fails" videos. :)
I love my 2017 TH. These things are quite capable going uphill!
For the $$ it should fly up hills .this want every other 4x4 do when folks that no how to drive them takes the wheel

Dang! That was nuts!
Dunno why, but I really enjoy seeing Trailhawks shred the trails.
I feel like it's because they don't articulate at all but are traction control beasts, so those willing to three-wheel the thing everywhere make some great videos. But that three-wheeling everywhere thing was the same reason I sold mine lol
I own a 4runner and it's just fun to watch things offroad that aren't Tacoma's, 4runners, and wranglers. I also like to watch the subarus offroad
Very very good. Super 😍
Crazy man its cool
I'm waiting for my KL to arrive...these videos get me so hyped!!! THat's completely stock?!?!?!
Lol y'all people.. Any 4x4 will do this ..this a good driver all it is .hope your didn't waste thousands on one because of yt videos lol.any 4 wheels drive with the right driver can do many things !.even an old pos under a grand if the 4 x 4 still works
did you switch to rock mode to finish?
Nice.
Now that is a skillful off-reader !
Nice!
What size fuel tank does that have ? Like how many gallons to fill it up from empty ?
Wow! I want to buy this car!
Very nice work. It looks great. I'm not quite that talented. You should market that through smitty built or something. I'm positive there would be a market for it
Интересно какая у него стоит резина. Похоже штатная. Я на своем трейх хоке конечно на склоны лазил, но сюда!
He is an awesome driver, brave man
Where did you find that front bumper? I have a 2018 and would love to get one.
Lewis Johnson I built it.
Can you do a video on the front bumper. I’ve been watching all these videos to try to get a better view of it.

@@RIPSAW82 have your trail hawk break yet. I think getting new one 2019
What was the PTU setting on at the end to finally give the TH the traction?
It wasn't a PTU setting, it was his buddy dropping a couple chunks of rock in front of the drivers side rear tire to lessen the climb. Without that he wasn't going anywhere. Kind of, sort of cheated...
Shit...... I fell asleep before the end of this exciting video.... did he ever make it over the ant hill???
Should have put it in mud and sand mode haha . But seriously that rear diff is stronger that I thought it would be.
I said to my wife many times to never ask me the question to choose between her and my jeep obsession because she won't like the answer :) Jeepers can relate... #itsapassion
That’s why I dont buy used cars
Lightly used. Only driven to church on Sunday by a little old lady.

Is it lifted??
Pretty good driving, I'm guessing you've done this before. That rear locker really makes all the difference.
my drive way looks just like this
That would be a fun driveway.
My mom has a 16’ Cherokee Limited with the standard awd system, and it has to get out of the driveway after winter thaw, which means no gravel on the road, and a ton of mud! Hi there mate, would you be able to tell me what tyres are those?
Daniel Melfa Those are the Cooper STT Pro.
Would have been more easy with less air in the tires
Pretty sure he knows that
Think you have a greater roll risk with air out of the tires. There's a trade-off.
Who needs clearance when you can put a wheel 4 ft in the air ?!!!!
oh my god..you are destroying the car
A Che servono queste dimostrazioni???
Was hoping to see it roll over.
Hey, where's my wife? Not there!
Needs portal hubs.
richard miller
That would be awesome!
Бестолковый водила. Зачем делать это внатяг, если можно чуть сдать назад и с легким подскоком запрыгнуть на ступень выше
It sits to low they should have put better tires on it or made the jeep sit a bit higher up
is this original ? what is this tire ? goodrich KO2 ?
Looks like they say Cooper Discoverer.
Мой KL TRAILHAWK 2.4 смо рит и плачет
Why can't these people air down their tires
handyandy187 xx Right!
He made it up without airing them down so who cares. Tired of seeing these air down comments on every video. They fucking know they can air them down but didn’t want to.
Can't you do it on foot...
how big motor ? 6 V ????
V6 3.2, 271 hp, if he's still rocking stock everything on it.
2.0 160hp cvt gears
Ты чего забыл на этой горе дядя
Они так развлекаются. Испытывают возможности джипа.
His problem is it looks like he's still got the Firestones on it
yikes
I prefer the older ones, you can't lift the newer ones!!!🔧🔩🔧😀
Sure can: mfcoffroad.com/products/2inliftkit
Mark P there are a few lift kits out there. MFC Off Road gives you 2 inches w/o requiring other mods.
The subaru is great but same kia mohave price 😡fuck i will by mohave 2017 3.5 better faster
Abusing a good car...
Or enjoying a car he is paying for. 🤷♂️

didnt look very progressive, looked like they were struggling too much....
