After seeing a show and meeting some of the musicians, I have become even more fascinated by these 'behind the scenes' videos.
Jeff White won a Grammy at the 57th. Grammy Awards in 2015 for Best Bluegrass Album with, Earls of Leicester and also Jeff was named Entertainer of the Year Award for the Earls of Leicester during the 28th. Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards. Stage AE Outdoor Amphitheater is located at 400 North Shore Drive Pittsburgh, Pa15212. Stage AE is also serves as multi purpose complex by having an indoor concert hall. The facility opened on Dec.2, 2010 and the construction cost for both facilities was $13 million. The total space of the inside venue is 22,000 square feet, while the outdoor lawn area is 30,000 square feet. The indoor seating capacity is 2,400 while the outdoor seating capacity is 5,500. There is also a club area which has a seating capacity of 400. The Stage AE has played host to Marilyn Manson, Joe Walsh, ZZ Top, The Goo Goo Dolls, Old Crow Medicine Show, Greta Van Fleet, The Pixies, Three Days Grace and Dave Matthews to name just a few. Acrisure recently opened an arena near Palm Springs for a hockey and concerts. On hot days at the Hollywood Bowl, LA Philharmonic members get to perform in their shirt sleeves ... wish you guys could too!
Gina and I went to see the Eagles at Acrisure Palm Desert. It's a small arena, 10 or 12 thousand. The sound was good.
Stage AE is a multi-purpose entertainment complex located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It contains an indoor concert hall and an outdoor amphitheatre. It is the second indoor/outdoor concert venue in America. Modeled after its predecessor, Express Live! in Columbus, the venue features state-of-the-art lighting, acoustical systems and an innovative reversible stage. Structurally, it is divided into three independent concert spaces: a music hall, club and outdoor amphitheater.
The complex sits adjacent to the Pittsburgh Steelers' Acrisure Stadium. The team, which held the rights to develop the land adjacent to the stadium (the site of the Steelers former home, Three Rivers Stadium), partially owns the venue along with Continental Real Estate Cos. of Columbus, Ohio. The cost of construction was $12 million, with $2.5 million funded from state taxes. Total space of the indoor venue is 22,000 square feet, while the outdoor lawns totals 30,000 square feet. When it opened, the complex was expected to host approximately 100 events per year. In June 2010, naming rights were granted to American Eagle Outfitters, a clothing retailer based in Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood.
The venue opened in early December 2010 with two performances by Pittsburgh-native musician Girl Talk. Other performances in the first month included Cake and Anberlin, George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic, and Pittsburgh-natives Wiz Khalifa and The Clarks.
During the week before the 2011 NHL Winter Classic held at Heinz Field between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals, the outdoor lawn of the venue held a skating rink that was open to the public.[7] Leading up to the Steelers' hosting the 2011 AFC Championship game against the New York Jets, the venue hosted several concerts, parties, and rallies.

I just remembered running pretty much through Mr Rogers set going under the trolley set up twice, and it was dark in there. We all went in a line super fast through there and then outside real quick into another door with a short staircase where we exited just as quickly being handed a warm, somewhat large bun of freshly baked bread. The bus ride was long. From Indiana, Pennsylvania to Pittsburgh and back in time to get on the school bus back home. Hadn't thought of it for years. Can smell the bread though, thinking about it. We all got on the bus, ate part of the bread and mostly fell asleep. That was first grade. Amazing what all that little school did. Hope the fish was good.

I love the very rural west of the open range land but many of those States have become magnets for nationalism and the antithesis of what 'open' and 'range' signify. Idaho has become very much this way and possibly why Carol King after 20 years there sold her home.

Yes, its not your imagination. Im from the East (NYC) originally - big difference between East, West, and MidWest. A lot more stressful living in Eastern areas, thats why ive chosen to retire in the West

It was my experience the people driving cars were tense. The people with horses and buggies were nice. That was the only place I've been where the park was supervised and was really fun, like there were activities going on and anyone could jump in to those anytime, or back out to just explore and climb all over the playground. It seemed like maybe it was college kids supervising the park. Oh man and the best pizza was there ever in my life. Rectangular slices. Many times in the car I thought other drivers were going to kill my dad though. Mostly because of our plates, being South. I did cringe a lot hearing the extreme dipthongs on the letter "i". Really nice people outside of their automobiles though. All around. 😂
