Hi Lee!! You're probably already playing or just about to start playing. Looks like a great place for a show. I think you head back home for a brief stay and then it's time to get back on the road with Lyle for the Summer 2024 tour with the large band. It sounds like Mrs. Sklar is doing well enough now to take care of herself while you're out on tour. A personal reflection of George H. W. I so much wanted to shake his hand and express my gratitude. Our oldest son was in the 82nd Airborne and did Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The work that Bush and his team returned our son safely. Forever grateful. Love and Thanks ❤👍❤👍

Evening everyone. I'm taking out the kitchen trash, and circling the pool gate to check if it can happen again tonight. Last night discovered someone train wrecked the ladders more than usual. I skipped about three nights that were constant raining. Assuming it would be locked Monday for sure raining or not. 🧗‍♀️Frustrating. Am used to the middle rung being gone for several years, but seems like "whomever" was out in the downpour, bent the top rungs on both ladders, way down on one side each. I can't even imagine how one person could physically do that. It's odd. Maintenance items were strewn around, as though maintenance might've been out there, but after awhile I realized perhaps not. It's mysterious. As though maintenance was abandoned midway through draining some water before adding more, with the hose stretched out. I caned into the hose and popped wheelies over it to avoid rolling over it on the outside of the fence and the inside. Lots of people were already out there all day swimming before I went over. Maybe maintenance took both ladders out and apart then tried putting them both together so that the top arches would be even with each other, but that's not how they're made. Probably it wasn't apparent, until sliding the pipes back in resulting in extreme bent rungs. The bottom rung still seemed level fine as usual though, on the side I climbed down on. I just used my arms to displace my own weight when I felt how off the top rung was with my second foot coming in, and skipped down to the third. Climbing out was even more challenging than usual. It's always been easier for me to get out on the deep end instead of the shallow end. So the water was also not over the top rung. Checking it with my hands before attempting to climb out, it seemed to be securely attached and the rung itself not bent, perhaps a new plastic tread, but as though new holes were drilled down lower than even on the opposite side. The more I think this through it seems like the screwed ends were bent, at the screw points. I now suspect maintenance did this, changing the treads. Obviously thinking no need for a level, or chalk string, or any measuring or even wiki sticks to mark any places. After how extremely off the first ladder turned out, is when they probably drained the water below the the top rung level thinking to just look and guess and or just drill new holes approximately while maybe standing on the third rung themselves. I initially thought the partial draining was so more chemicals could be added then more water after what rain does for a few days, to the balance of algae and other stuff. So I am imagining what likely happened after all now as I think through the clues. Swimming helps me so much. I'm hoping I can make it happen as often as possible before it gets shut down again. One year my latest evening swim was November 6th. It's not even been open an entire week yet, this year. I hear encouraging sounds like kids are out there right now. Yay! ❤😊 I'm just suiting up. Happy music making.

Rrrrrrrobert!!! We’ve seen Robert at least 30 times over the last four decades, from our home in Mississippi to Key West and many points in between. He’s fed us music, literature and above all else, ten thousand laughs. Keep on rockin, Robert. You will always be our favorite Who Doo Man!
