As a displaced darius main, I feel for your tilt. Game is unplayable in 50% of matchups and free another 50% its about as fun as flipping a coin for 30 minutes
I’ve been playing league almost a year at this point and used Darius to get to plat. At the tail end of S13 I stopped one tricking and just mained Darius. Start of S14 I had a new main. Midway through split 1 I used Darius in counter picks. Now I play Garen and Ornn

I previously played two of my placements and hardcarried one as midlane Lux with most damage by far S And my second match was a rather mediocre performance where i kept peeling for my team as Ahri. Won both Now i don t know where to shove this so ill just let it out here, keep scrolling if you re not interested. - Queue for 3rd game and pick Ahri mid again I get a Yone top that goes 1/7/0 in 28 minutes. I get a Leona that is probably one of the best supportsi ve ever played with. A Cait ADC that never stops complaining and get s caught everytime when rotating (instead of recalling) And a Yi that had like 13 kills, mostly stolen, and well over 10 deaths but not securing A SINGLE OBJECTIVE despite winning multiple teamfights, overchasing and dieing. At 35 minutes we had ONE grub, which was the one i myself ripped from evelynns claws 2vs1 in river, escaping and catching midwave. Later when teamfights Yi would get caught overxtending (again) and eats every morgana root in the game, similarly to caitlin, which mostly ends in forced fights loosing us everything and innevitably the game. After getting caught 1vs5 again the last time Yi seemingly finds his keyboard and types "focus Elise". The enemy team hat no Elise.. so we lost shortly after.. Didn t find motivation to continue playing since then. Luckily Elden Ring DLC drops in two weeks.. This seems like a carefully typed out rant but in reality i just type really fast so i threw this in the comment in like 2 minutes. To whoever is actually reading that; have a great day! - or rather a better day than me at least..
The amount of changes to the game is absurd, I just can’t keep track of them anymore. Every year there’s another game overhaul and every 6 months there’s another round of patches for Worlds and MSI. Then all the item changes and state of the game and trying to satisfy ranked but also the pro scene. It’s just too much. I picked Ornn yesterday and noticed they changed his masterwork items completely and made it so any item can be a masterwork and removed the option for you to pick a really cool and special item to upgrade since they’re all the same now If you’re gone for a month you come back to a different game with the same champions that still aren’t balanced.
