The card is awesome but I wish Nike would do a collaboration. For sure they would make a shoe that everyone would wear!
I got the blue eyes collab shoes for my birthday and think they are the best looking of the bunch. They have the atk/def embroidered on the inside of the tongue. Very comfortable too and on trend with the return to chunky skate shoes. Just wish they came with the blue eyes card.
I'd wear the slippers ironically but those shoes man, I couldn't pull those off 😂😂

I don't think this will change the DDS price but I'm initially pleasantly surprised how nice they look and how well the Adidas logo turned out. If they're as limited as they seem to be, this card may have a bright future

The 2018 World Championship Promo Blue Eyes and Dark Magician (2018-JPP01 and 02) also have the flavor text watermark, in this case it's the 20th anniversary logo
The exodia tags are the coolest thing about these shoes
The shoe looks fine with one set of laces, the poster really did a disservice to the shoe by taking a photograph with both laces lmao 🤣

Nice video something different, would love to see a follow up on actual release date and price for these. I trade shoes and collect shoes myself I think they will sell out instantly. And seeing yugi on the insole makes me think since the first capsule collection had a kiaba shoe it’s possible you will see another kiaba shoe drop also in black with a blue eyes promo.

they used good shoe model, the adi2000. its skate inspired shoe. they definitely look better than the white ones, and the extra laces are optional so you can go only use black laces. the little lace charms are nice and i def like things like that. Jordan does something similar with there shoe models. decent shoe fo sho

If the inside was not Hot Pink and Purple and the yellow was instead a dark purple, I could sport them, but as they are right now, you would not catch me dead in those shoes, i have the shoes! and the card! but the shoes are still in a box on a shelf

To you end point of "over printing the collab" - There's proooobably a range of 5k to 10k of these that are going to hit, which is why the promo is already diving under that price. I know you said you dont have as much experience with shoes (I'm pretty surface level also with them) but youre right on that the extras are the best part of these too.
I was actually informed that these are going to be short printed for reasons that can't be disclosed. I'm actually of the opinion that there will be much less than 10k and closer to 5k, maybe even less. Which is still an extremely small number, especially for a DDS Dark Magician.
Also I don't think they actually "dropped" in price, for me at least, to drop in price it means that they have to have previously sold for X price and now they're selling for less. These cards never sold for 2k, the listings are actually still up there. So to me I think the initial market price is 400 ish and they can either drop or go up from here. I understand however that a lot of people use tcgplayer listed price as the market price however for the collecting landscape I'd say sold prices are what determine the value as collectors take their time and don't instantly NEED their cards to play with.

@@StrictlySealed When I say diving, I mean under your initial guessing price (which I do think it can easily go up towards too). I do think long term it's likely to do well (Kind of like worlds envelopes maybe). As for the less than, IDK if you can disclose but the UK launch amount seems to be a very very big amount for what should get also chopped up to other regions.

The DM Adidas looks super good! I'm honestly surprised they didn't do Blue-Eyes though. I would have definitely gone after a Blue-Eyes one if it was made.
When you get the DM Adidas, you should show the difference between the rest of the DM cards for contrast. Love to see that!
As a DM collector I love it, however I do feel for blue eyes collectors, this set defo favoured the Dark Magician with this new card
I bought a pair of 9s for 240 after tax and everything but I think it's worth it in long run might even take a size 5 for 200 just to get a second one. Gonna try sell the shoes though lol

Besides the Adidas logo, I don't see this card being that rare, is basically a reprint of the Japanese 15AX dark magician with the Adidas stamp on it. I think this will sell for 100-200 but more than that would be interesting. also depends on how many they print ofc.
As someone who's been collecting yugioh for about 2 decades, I can tell you that ANY promos of the og DMG or BEWD are going to be worth mad money down the line. Especially if it's a Collab like adidas.
