@@felixfungle-bung4688 Because music is an immaterial thing doesn't mean it's cheap, it costs a lot of money and time to produce it properly with good equipment, production crew, distribution etc. And if you've ever actually heard pretty much any artist talk about their situation, many of them get robbed blind by the record companies unless they have substantial ownership of said company. I don't know who your beef is with but it isn't me 🤣

Music is a fad, always looking for the next marketable sound.

Every market is over saturated so what? There's not a market on earth that mass amounts of people aren't competing in, music is just one of them. A lot of artist spend years some even a decade producing before they see any spotlight. I never seen someone invest that amount of time into a fad, thats would be a waste of time. Yes artist go broke for many reasons like anyone, some due to not being paid properly whether is the label or lame so called fans that dont want to support. Why do you think so many artists try to stay independent?
