- A while back we reserved a fun group campsite right along a river. We anticipated a beautiful sunny weekend in June, however the weather forecast called for lots of rain. We weren’t about to let that stop us from taking our teardrop camping, and it provided the opportunity to try out some new gear.

I got a Cedar Ridge Vega XT from Cedar Ridge Campers in Murray, KY. I liked the Timberleaf but couldn't tolerate the 15 month lead time.

It's a great spot! Beaver Creek Group Campground along Mountain Loop Highway just before the ice caves.
Great video. I'm looking at a Bushwhacker tear drop now but my wife is skeptical about the potty situation. I think the Joolca would be perfect. How did it work for you guys? Thanks.
Thank you! The Joolca worked great. We envision having a bathroom setup on one side with the privacy wall, and having the other side for a changing area. Didn't need the bathroom on this trip as the site had one.
@@WheresWiseman I have a Jeep Gladiator that's the same color as your Jeep. How's pulling a tear drop with it? Did you have to get a trailer brake also? Thanks.
No issues at all and don't use trailer brakes. We picked this trailer because it is around 1k lbs. Pulled 2k before and was just too much for the 2 door 👍🏻
