He had a good year with Jameis and Andy Dalton at QB. Hopefully he gets a young QB that compliments his skills

Yeah I was pretty upset as a Washington fan that we didn’t grab him, time will tell if that’s a decision we come to regret but we got a pretty nice RB and WR. Not to mention Howell might have franchise level potential at QB(still prefer Olave’s it factor, him and Pickens felt like no brainers)

Route running, change of pace, awareness of where the DB is, and his dependability coming back to the football makes me think he’s gonna be a top WR for a long time. With his playstyle I bet he stays pretty injury free too, doesn’t take more hits than he needs to. Next Tyler Lockett

Watching him and Garrett Wilson play together was amazing. Wilson is the one who makes the big plays and incredible catches where olave can make amazing catches he’s just so silky smooth with his route running almost like a gazelle.
Olave and Shaheed are going to be a hand full to deal with.

Its pretty safe to say if you draft an Ohio State WR you got a WR1 off the bat. Garret Wilson, Chris Olave, Terry McLaren, Paris Campbell, and Curtis Samuel. And those are the ones from the past few years

@Bryan Lutz Paris Campbell is definitely not that great. Pure speed receiver but with butter fingers. Garret Wilson, also pure speed with route running ability and at least he has hands. Terry McLauren is the best of both those guys. Great speed, route running, and catching. Curtis Samuel also is great. Unfortunately Curtis is with a bad team.

Saints had three “But 4” QBs.
I really think if Hill had been given the job without worrying about losing it every week, he would have become a long time starter… But 4 his tendency to fumble, which never improved, and his quick trigger to recklessly run the ball resulting in injuries.
Dalton did a more than over avg job with a fairly new system and crappy team… could be great… But 4 age and lack of security at the starting position (still had better stats in every category than Carr).
I was really pulling for Winston, but again, he had to worry about losing his job every week. He played well before injury in 2022, but was gun shy about risking interceptions and was losing his zip because he was trying to play through injuries. He also had the potential to be a long time starter… But 4 his limited playing time as a starter with the Saints, his tenuous support as a starter, and his constant injuries.
I think Dalton, due to his age, has his best days behind him. Hill will continue to do what he does making him one of our top weapons (at least for the 7 to 10 games that he’ll play when he’s not injured). Winston can still make a comeback… I’m pulling for him.
Sad thing is, I don’t think there’s a “But 4” for Carr. I just it’s going to be a $150MM hole in Gail’s pocket… hope I’m wrong.
