Udupa was an exceptionalyl good and enjoyable one, to say the least. The Main Artist's
mastery over his instrument in portraying his skill was adequately supported by the

Mandolin Srinivas (not Srinivasan) - He was born in Andhra Pradesh in a small town, Palakollu.
In my personal opinion Guitar is a modern vertion of Veena which is an ancient instrument of limited portability. Veena reader must sit and read as usually Karnatic Customs. But westerners need to dance and play the instrument 😊

This has become my daily routine...
I hated electronic guitar, because of its sound, but now after hearing him play carnatic on e - guitar. I feel that carnatic can make any instrument Devine and heavenly ❤❤
i am absolutely stunned. He is so gifted and cool. I have shared it to my grandson trying to learn. This young mastro is a shining light to all yongsters. May god bless him. His fellow artists are superb and no less blessed.

Over six decades, I have heard hundreds of renditions of this Carnatic music classic, both vocal and instrumental versions. This performance by both the lead musician and the accompaniments, is as good as the best I've heard. Really top notch performance! It is not just the technical ability to play the notes accurately - it is experiential feelings by the musicians that manifest so evidently. There is also a youthful energy that come out in the improvisations that feels new and refreshing. My compliments and best wishes to this group.
