We have a new video on Monday, 12th September, 2022 ! In this video, I shared some of my experiences in Ghana back in 2020 & also had a guest who just got back from Ghana recently share her experiences in Ghana.
The official language in Ghana is English. Ghana was under the British.
Ghanaians study English at school. Ghanaians love and are proud of their native languages and so they speak them more. Ghanaians are proud of their culture. The Government of Ghana encourages Ghanaians to wear traditional and cultural attire or dress to work on Fridays. The largest ethnic group in Ghana is the Akan.
Their language is called Twi and it is easy to learn. That is why many Ghanaians understand Twi.
The brown rice and beans is called Waakye. It is even sold in Lagos by some Ghanaians. Many Ghanaians and some Nigerians love Waakye.
We are one people, one Africa, one human family.
Thank you, learnt one more thing 😊
ghana expert
Not only that about the music but Ghanaians welcome everyone and what they bring along. We don’t discriminate!
Yes ! Ghanaians are welcoming & I love to see that ❤️
As an American I found this video to be very poorly researched and highly disrespectful to the country of Ghana. One small sample does not account for the entirety of a country.
Thank you. I think they visited one little town and didn't have the full Ghanaian experience. Secondly they feel the need to play down Ghana to make Nigeria look good.
Seriously? Ghana is not an English speaking country? Did you really visit Ghana? 😂😂
The official language of Ghana is English but we also like speaking our local languages. After all we're Ghanaians and our more than 54 local languages are our heritage.
awwwwwww the wedding outfit was so beautiful.
English is our official language my sister. We have our indigenous languages which must come first, because we are Africians (Ghana to be precise).
You didn't steal any show because there was no show to be stolen. Everyone goes about his or her business.
Ghana has many local languages, but twi which is one of the local languages is widely spoken in the country.
Ghana is an English speaking country
Please, Ghana is not a small town,,you only went to a certain part
Had to support you. Ghana 🇬🇭 love y'all
💕❤️🥰
Girls better study history well before you make funny statement...Ghana is an English speaking country and ghanaian teachers had contributed enough to E.System in Nigeria in the past. Nonsense.
yessss, light soup and fufu, and waakye, are amazinggggg
I wish I had them 😁
Just subscribed cos i love what u do. much 💕 from Dubai proud Ghanaian😘
Thank youuuu 😻 glad to have you here !
Ghanaians don’t like packaging but natural
Thank you dear. We love you 😍
Thank you too ❤️
loved the sincerity in this video, well done , i also cant wait to go back to Ghana, its home
Definitely your second home
@@olgamoneyy Ghanaians love to be natural that is why Ghanaian ladies don't bleach their skin like Nigerians ladies do bleaching their skin's. According WORLD HEALTHORGANIZATION (WHO ) 70 percent of Nigerians women bleached their skin's. Been natural is good than been fake, what God gave you .
I came to Ghana in 2018 and return back the same year during December and also come back in 2019 since then I have been living in Ghana ( in Accra dome piller 2) 😊😊, It's peaceful here though, but a bit expensive ☹️😊 but on God 😊😊, Steady electric 💡 supply and ✌️ peace ✌️, that's Ghana for you, And mind you respect the law and the women in Ghana because it's mother land as they say 😊😊
Speaking quality!!!!
Thanks love ❤️
😁😁😁happy to be here
Happy to have you !
Ghana has about 50 indigenous languages (Dakubu, 1996), and the major ones are Akan, Ewe, Ga, Dagaare, and Dagbani, with English as the official language. Out of these languages, only 11 languages are taught in the schools and few of them are used on the radio and television.
Interesting
80 languages 😊
Ghana 🇬🇭 is great to have you 🤗
Love to see this ❤️
Pls why will u have an expensive wedding just to show off. Pls save for the future after the wedding there are more things to be done.
You guys are original
Thank you 😊
This your description about Ghana and Ghanaians is below the belt! Are you ladies saying you don't know Ghana like Nigeria was a British colony so Ghanaians also speak english as their linqua franca? This is so disappointing! Does it mean that Nigerians don't study African history at school? FYI Ghana is made up of different ethnic groups who speaks different dialects just like you have in Nigeria. The small group of people you interacted with on your visit does not describe the entirety of Ghana, Next time when you are going to visit another African country at least google and read a little about the history of that country before you embark on your journey. God bless you both!
You outfits are very beautiful, you are all very beautiful in this dress! We miss you in Ghana pls come back,,! Anyway Ghana speaks English, even very good one, they also speaks their dialet,, any man can speak 2 or 3 languages very perfect so Ghana speaks british English,, I think Nigerians speaks their Pegin language I don't think that one is English because Britons (UK) can not understand it
That Rice n bean, and black pepper ( shito ) is called Waakyie and jollof depends on who cooks it.
Please visit the North next when in Ghana and your perception about the complexion will change.
Ghana is not small, it can host 200million population and there will be more lands for cultivation wai
point of correction, our Official language is english. that food is called Waakye.
Come on, English is the official language in Ghana.
Ghanaians are not show offish.
Bless up 😃
Okay 👍
U guys are beautiful 😍
Thank you ❤️
Nigeria don't have jollof. What you people have is coloured rice
Nice dress, beautiful.
Thank youuuu 🥰
Look at ignorents talking about Ghana. Fake life is not Ghanaian thing.
Nice video i your dresses
Thank you ❤️
We use perfumed rice, like jasmine, Gino, etc.
Oh now I know
Lovely dressing ✌️❤️🇬🇭🇳🇬
Thank you 😊
Let me tell you, Ghana is not a small town as you think ok
It depends on the type of rice used, who looks it.
Okay 👌
Does taxis in Nigeria comes with Aircondition?
Yes it does, I mean that’s why they are taxis
@@olgamoneyy
You are fake
We don't use Peugeot the cars differ and we use small cars because or petrol prices
Okayyyyy
We don't speak one language, our together was a conscious effort of our past great leaders
Okay…
In Ghana funeral are the big thing, the celebration of the deceased persons life, then weddings.
Oh okay
Ghana jollof rice is not slimey abeg 🤣
It’s not an argument dear, save that for some other time
@@olgamoneyy is someone arguing with u here but what u said is definitely a lie period goodbye
Hahahah, Ghana small town.
Eiiye you said that dress you were wearing ,you were first and the nicest dress at the wedding wow, it was okay, but shouldn't be the most beautiful, dress, anyway beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, just saying
What do you mean by Ghana isn’t an English country?… our official language is English so I don’t get it
Okay 👍
@@olgamoneyy How dare her call Ghana “small town”.... in fact you guys are very ignorant!!!
She is ignorant !!!
Ghanaians don’t speak pidgin language whilst Nigerians do.
@@agnestekyi6078 erm we do speak pidgin ma
Please we DONT speak one language.
We have EWE, GA, DAGOMBA etc. Pls twi IS NOT the only language.Do your research well.thanks
The food taste depends on your cook
Yeah, I guess so
Waakye
To make your videos more credible and educative, you should dig deeper about the topics you discuss. It will enhance your viewing number too. U guys mentioned a lotta things that were false especially you.
lol, those were my experiences
It’s your experience so don’t generalize it for Ghanaians…I think you should’ve done your research more to put out a more accurate video
There over 100 languages spoken in gh
oh woaw
Do you taxis in Nigeria 🇳🇬 offer drivers AC??
It’s a given, it comes with using taxis unlike buses
Liar 😂😂!!! Taxis in Nigeria provide Ac
Ghanaians are simple people
No doubt
they are complicated beneath the surface
Guys please get your facts straight! We are an English speaking country, keep up the good work.
Be an African Massa
Twi is our popular language in Ghana 🇬🇭
@Johnny right?
@@sourcestvghuk9897 comot for there... twi is not the official language in Ghana!!!
@@kofisam4106 keyword is popular not official🤐
Sometimes it's good to do your research small, we have over 60+ languages, taxis are registered as official cars. We still don't like Nigeria jollof cos we don't like bullet rice and flavourless rice, only pepper 😒. Our official language is English hence the reason why your people choose their higher education in West Africa. Use Google for more information, u welcome
Ghana is English speaking language my dear CZcamsr
Every thing can actually post a video here
Pressed ??? Not much
I have never heard anyone talking about dressing of a complete stranger. Unless you are a predominantly Muslim area. Nigerians use par boiled rice which Ghanaians detest because that American long grain rice is reserved for those who find cooking rice challenging. That type office usable acquired taste.
Where did your sister get her done in Ghana?
What do you mean ?
Pls go and do research our official language is English ok
If y’all can’t be neutral, leave Ghana alone
Why was glowgetter stuttering?
Glowgetter come & answer
😅
You'll are very beautiful. Stop packaging, be authentic. You should be able to cut your hair low and walk with your head high.
Lol, thank you
Please next time do your research well because all you said 95% is cap
Ghana does not speak one language, same as nigeria ghana has more than 70 plus languages
Okay 👍
what was the language that Glowgetter just spoke lol
Glowgetter tap in
😂😂😂God help me
The lingua franca of Ghana is English
Poor research. Respect other people's culture
When did they ever disrespected Ghana's culture? You people will find faults with EVERYTHING!! Damn these villagers.
But a Ghanaian from the north, upper west, upper east, volta and most state as we call region does not speak twi, is english that we use to communicate, English is the official language,
Okayy
Massa stop your lies every part in Ghana you go you can find people who can speak and understand twi, 95% of Ghanaians can speak and understand Twi
you better return to primary school is free in ghana and stop this NONSENSE😡
Twi is our largest local language
✌️
English is our official language.
Okay, noted
@@olgamoneyy I'm very shocked to here from you that Ghana is not an English speaking country
The reasons why Ghanaians knows more Nigeria music unlike Nigerians is Ghanaians radio stations play more Nigerian music while Nigerians radio stations don't play Ghanaians music and that's unfortunate situation and facts
Ohhhhhhh
A lot crap I must be honest. The research was very very poor !
Just say u like Nigeria jollof because you're a Nigerian... the rice Ghanaians use in preparing their jollof is different from that of Nigeria.
Okay 👌
Ghana is an English speaking language. Everyone speaks English in Ghana. English is our official language. Twi is just one of the local languages being spoken in Ghana, and it is widely spoken across the country because the Assntes are the biggest ethnic group in Ghana 🇬🇭 So kindly do proper research before bringing out misconceptions like this
It isn’t a misconception dear, it was entirely based on our experience
so you dont know you should cover up before going out??
why would someone in an urban city go to someone on her way on the street and say to her to cover up?? Ghana?
Who says our jollof rice is stick together like eba, please u didn't eat jollof be that
Yeah, it sounded like she was describing rice gun (emo tuo)
I beg your pardon. The official language for Ghana is English please.
English is our official language just like Nigeria. You (Nigerians) speak pidgin English as the common unlike Ghana, majority speaks Twi, mind you, not everyone in Ghana speaks Twi...
Okayyyy
This is the most bias interview have ever watch........
Jacob Dornyo, what is bias about it? It's a very informative interview, and I learned somethings about both countries.
So Ghana is French speaking country?? Really?
You sure you heard right ?
Ghana we don't really like exposing our bodies. You're even lucky you're in city. In the interlands lady you would have had a lot of old ladies to deal with.
So in short cover yourself when ever you're in Ghana
stop it
YES SIR !
How is Paris the most beautiful place in the world?🤣🤣🤣
Ever heard of see Paris & d*e ?
Are you sure you’re well informed?
I shared my experiences and they may not tally with yours & that doesn't make it less.
@@olgamoneyy
You never had any experience, it is either you didn't come to Ghana or you are empty headed
We don't speak one language we have 85 languages in Ghana.
👌
Nigeria music is far better ahead of Ghana music
🌚🌚
Ghanaians are big on morals..Both Christians, Muslims and traditionalists…If you dress anyhow, people will address you anyhow..She said Ghanaians use some weird rice😂😂..Bro, Nigerians use some big grain rice for jollof,,It’s really weird 😂..I didn’t like it..The rice is like really big😂😂….And oh, Ghana jollof is not together😂..I don’t know where you bought yours😂…I’ve been in Ghana for the most part and I’ve never eaten jollof that is together😂…Ghana rice is not together😂, I don’t where you bought yours 😂…
Another angle…
We don't know you. Why are Nigerians now pretending to be Ghanaians ? Africa is one Country or Continent whatever you want,so stop that follow follow mentality and be proud of being Nigerians ! Be yourselves and don't listen to what others say !
Ain't no one pretending
This your wedding video does not look like you oo, coz no one on earth can not see you coz of the make up,
Very funny Ghana looks like a town to you right and we drive Peugeot we are black than you nigerians hmm really english is not Ghana 🇬🇭 national language wow
You better think about how to amend your dignity and stop disturbing our ease with that unnecessary competition. How can a Fulani ruling country beat The whole Iconic Black Star of the world?
It's really not that serious.
stop exaggerating
if you say so
This girl you are interviewing there dont have anything better to say, She can never appreciate ghana in anything., to her she look to Nigeria stuff and nothing else, people like that always pull other countries down and praise their own, So She is simply bias, next time interview truthful person
That’s her opinion& that’s fine, that’s your opinion & that’s fine too
@olgamoneyy Yea its her opinion , thats why im saying her opinion doesnt need to make her country 200% and others 0%, at least there must be one thing good about Ghana or others
ignorant we do not speak one language and Ghans is not a small town. Do you guys see the attires that your sister brought from Ghana but you did not say it came from Ghana. Ridiculous about the jolloff rice. You nigerians alway puting Ghana down.
I believe this is a case of miscommunication
@@olgamoneyy
It is not miscommunication you just exposed your ignorance, you should pull this video down...such ignorant fellows. You are bunch of fake people that dirty Nigeria who doesn't know there...
