I went to Disney for the first time on our honeymoon. Thereâs so much to enjoy without kids. We of course brought our kids when we had the chance and it was wonderful as well.
That was us too!! Disney really has something for basically everyone.
Looks like you two had a good relaxing dayâŠminus the rain, but itâs totally different not having to worry about keeping kids and a stroller dry. And Gideons cookies are top notch!!!

We flew home after 9 nights on your Epcot day! the weather was insane!!
For future reference for you- we did the candlelight dining package twice that week with our 11 month old and 4 year old! We did Biergarten one day and garden grill dinner the other! They both loved it and did so well!! Definitely worth the money!!!
I flew in the night of your Epcot day! It was a ROUGH landing!! The best cooking (imho) is the black and white cookie at the Israel booth. We did the candlelight dining package so my stomach only had room for ONE cookie and that was the clear winner in 2019 so I had to go back for it in 2023!
So happy yall got a little hubby and wife time together at Disney (: It looked like yall had a really nice and slow paced weekend

I was there the same day. Wish I had seen you guys! I watched the processional in the back for a bit, but did the same as you and had to leave as the rain just kept getting worse.
I tried for the same day candlelight ticket as well on a Wednesday/Thursday and they were sold out. It was a Brenden Frasier day though which probably contributed.
This was such a fun trip :) I love you bunches pretty lady â€
I love your attitude about the whole raining all day and things not going as planed. You are right it is all how you look at it, which can make it a good or bad day. I would also like to say I am firmly against Gideons cooks they are just not good. I only like the bride of Frankenstein cookie during Halloween season

Okay can I hug you lol. I feel like I have 3 spaghetti noodles for hair which quickly turns to wet dog in the rain. It was oddly the best day!!
Wow! I took my 2 year old to the Xmas party on the 15th & did Disney springs on the 16th đ©hated the rain! But didnât want to waste the day plus we had a reservation for chef arts homecoming. Food was so good!

My husband and I went to Walt Disney World on our honeymoon and we had a great time! I would say if you have the opportunity and the budget for it, itâs worth it to go adults only. I also went on a girls trip in my early twenties and had a blast, especially drinking around the world at Epcot.
Definitely special with kids but itâs still a great time for adults only
I remember this day (dec 16) coz we were at disney too..but were in MK,yes raining so hard..but that didnt stop from taking all the rides so it is still a win (though we didnt watch the fireworks).
Sooo much rain that day! That's awesome!! Hopefully it meant lower crowds over there too.
