My 5 yo who has been to Disney several times was waaaiiiittttiiiinnnnggg so patiently to be tall enough to ride test track. The last trip we took (which was for his birthday) he got to ride!!!!! The only shirt he’d let me buy him to wear on that trip was a test track shirt and he still requests the test track music in the car. It’s these memories that I can’t get enough of! Epcot is 100% kid friendly!!

Thank you for showing how a realistic day with Genie+ and young children feels. Although I love skipping lines, I have decided to hold off with Genie+ until my son is older. I just find myself quickly trying to move from one thing to the next to get my money worth and it makes the day chaotic. We find our family does better with choosing a popular ride to do early entry or last ride of the day and spending the rest of the time just doing low wait rides or attractions/activities with no lines.
That’s a great strategy too! Love that everyone can find a Disney routine that works for them. 💜✨

🌸 aww Lucy, my son is the same age he hasn’t tried Soarin’ yet- I’m a little worried since he too loves coasters but Soarin feels so real! I can see how it’s scary! And you got SO lucky with that last minute remy LL!!! Amazing!!
For her it was the transitions that were scary other than she liked the flying party’s. I felt like I won the lottery with Remy’s that late! 🙌🏼

Just got home from spending the week at Disney last week and we totally loved Flower & Garden!! I’m with you I love to just look at the flowers and take it all in! Seeing Lucy pose for pics is the cutest ! 🌸🌸
🌼🌼🌼 My husband and I went to Akershus for the first time in February and were seated at the table diagonal behind Bella. It was so good! Surprisingly I loved that caramel goat cheese and the waffles were amazing. It was just the two of us (both 51) but each princess was gracious enough to let me video them telling my three grand babies a message.

Yay! This was awesome & looked like a fun day! We go to Epcot in June and I keep debating if we should get genie+ or not. I haven’t been to Epcot in 6 years! 🙃 so I’m excited! Definitely looking forward to my Frozen loving 2 year to ride Frozen and meet Anna & Elsa.

🌸🌺🌸 That looked like a fun despite the on and off rain. We only pick a couple of things to try when a festival is going on. To many food choices. The breakfast looked great at character breakfast. Those croissant did look delicious. We are planning on eating breakfast at Garden Grill. My son wants to try this restaurant. We enjoy Via Napoli pizza. The food looked great at the restaurant you all were at. Glad Lucy enjoyed Test track.

It sucks Lucy didn’t like Soarin. I love that ride a lot. I’m glad she loved Test Track though!! That’s one of my favorite Epcot rides besides Guardians!

How did you clean the bird cup btw?! My bottle brush won’t even fit down in it! Also we love the space base! Dropped my kids off there with my husband while I rode gaurdians (aka best ride in Disney World) 🥰
A LOT of hot water because mine wouldn't fit either! Hands down the best ride!

I was wondering how he was going to react to Soarin’ and Test Track as he’s more of a rollercoaster fan like Lucy. I guess we will see, lol! Just curious, have you been to Ohana for the character breakfast or do you have plans to go if you haven’t? That is something we want to check out but we’re wondering if it’s worth it? Thanks. 😊
🌸🌼We love Epcot!! Flower and garden is my favorite. We haven’t taken our 4 year old on soarin yet even though she is tall enough. I’m pretty sure she would have the exact same reaction. She loves roller coasters. But soarin is different and I think it would scare her. Or she could love it. You never know until you try I guess!

Soarin is a really scary ride for me. I didn’t feel secure, I feel like I will fall. Anytime I do ride it I have to “breathe” through it and not look around. And I love coasters- but I feel secure in the seats.
I can do coasters all day long, but have discovered that the simulators make me nauseous. Which is weird because I don't usually struggle with motion sickness. I almost lost my cookies on Mission Space the last time we went years ago. And that old Star Wars one at HS was the same for me. So I've never done Soarin'. It bums me out because we're going this summer and I really want to try Flight of Passage, which I believe is also that type of ride. I need to do some research, maybe Dramamine would help. Poor Lucy, hopefully it's not the case for her.
I feel so bad dragging my kids on rides they don’t want to do but otherwise they’ll never know what they like! I think Test Track ruined my oldest though. She was afraid of everything after that 😂
You really don't know until it happens and you could go back in a few months and it's their new favorite thing! 😂
Hi Ashley! First of all I wanted to compliment you on your outfits, you looked very good and comfortable! As for genie plus I totally think it’s worth it at every park, almost every day, after all we paid for tickets and food etc I don’t think it’a a steep price to pay even if you ride 2/3 attractions. We have it much worse in Paris with only individual lighting lanes that start at 15 euros per ride (or the 200 euros depending on the day to skip all the participating rides similar to Universal) genie plus seems like a good compromise to me!

First, I think Lucy is your little daredevil when it comes to rides! She seems to love the coasters! Second, was she upset the whole time during Soarin', or did she just not like a certain part? Only asking because I know some children do not like how the seat magically lifts you into the air and kind of swings the whole time. I also know some kids who freaked out about the fireworks at the end because they were up close and personal with the sound. Just curious if you think either of those would have bothered her about it. If so, hopefully, she will grow to like it as she gets older!🥀🌻

My daughter didn’t like Soarin’ either but it was the California overlay and had some surprises that scared her. I’m hoping she’ll like World better when we go back! I used to think Epcot was better for older kids or adults so we’ve skipped it in the past but on our last two trips I’ve realized there is so much for all of my kids who vary in ages-3, 7, 8, 14, & 15 🌷💐🌸🪻🌼
