Princess Carriage diaper cake PART 2

  • PLEASE WATCH THE ENTIRE SERIES BEFORE YOU BEGIN MAKING YOUR DIAPER CAKE. THIS IS A CRAFT WITH ME TYPE OF VIDEO AND SOME THINGS MAY GO A LITTLE WRONG AND NEED ADJUSTING. IF I MAKE A MISTAKE IT WILL BE FILMED BUT I WILL SHOW YOU HOW I RESOLVED THE ISSUE.
    I hope that you have as much fun making yours as I did this one. It was much loved at the baby shower. Enjoy!
    List of items used:
    Scissors
    Double sided tape
    Regular scotch tape
    Rubber bands
    16” paper lantern
    4 paper towel tubes or 2 - 15 ¼”” tubes for the tire axels
    Gold wire
    String pearls (the kind that stay together after being cut)
    Ribbon of your choice
    Tiara
    Stuffed animal (to pull your carriage)
    Flattened cardboard box to use as platform for your cake (as shown in picture)
    Crepe paper roses (I made these myself but here is the link to the tutorial • Crepe paper roses Tuto...
    79 diapers size 1 (I know this is a complete random number but you can always adjust yours how you see fit)
    Diaper breakdown
    7 for each tire = 28
    4 for each center of the tires
    8 for the “headboard”
    5 for under the “headboard”
    2 for the “foot of the bed”
    4 for the “pillow roll”
    28 for the bed “mattress”
    3 receiving blankets
    2 for the bed
    1 for one of the tires
    1 receiving blanket to cover platform for your cake (I did not record this part)
    4 long burp cloths
    3 for the tires
    1 for the top of the carriage
    4 wash cloths
    2 for the tire “axels”
    1 for the “headboard”
    1 for the “pillow roll”

    What are the size for your recieving blankets?

      Hi Tracy, They were just standard size receiving blankets here in the U.S. They may be called swaddlers in other countries but I would think that they are just standard size world wide. I apologize for the delayed response...I was very sick when you asked your question.
