First clips makes a point of why you should be alert at all times! Good observations from that driver saved a huge mess! I hope that was reported.

He was shaken but in the context of the clip I think he was pretty calm. I would have needed a new set of pants after that one!

And the Focus driver honked at the cammer and had no clue why he was on the hard shoulder.

Its why you should always leave a gap in front, when queuing on motorway- if something barrels up behind , you have an escape route instead of being boxed in.

First guy was an absolute masterclass in keeping cool in that situation & taking the appropriate course of action. 👏

Bang on, you car hear and see him accelerate to completely block the van from coming in, you can see he’s indicating, people get in the wrong lane sometimes, big wow, just hold up for 2 seconds and let him in. Stood stationary longer arguing than it would of taken to let him in so obviously wasn’t in that much of a rush✊✊✊
@eyenesky they got 3mph faster. Hardly accelerating. They have every right to not let the van in so close to the junction. Indicating doesnt give the van and right to move across.
Well done Roger mate, there is nothing more anxiety inducing than being sat at the back of a stationary queue on the motorway and you reacted just in the nick of time, hats off to you, well done!

That was the woman from the last clip, driving back from the club the previous night, moments before she crashed into a lamppost coming off at the fifth exit.
The last clip is of her venting her frustration in the morning to passing motorists, as she was so disgraced with herself for not being able to make it home that night due to being 23 times over the drink driving limit......

The Cammer at 09:40 selfish and dangerous driving on your part, careless by the van and he was in the wrong as he ought to have waited and merged once you’d passed because he was behind you and you had right of way but arrogance and selfishness in accelerating makes you equally culpable there.

He had a huge gap in front of him but would rather have a collision than let someone into it. Absolute bellend.
I'll go further and ask why the van should have to wait? He only started passing when the van tried to merge into the gap. I think after the first space close as the van driver I'd have let him past, but it's still 100% on the cammer.

I fear that lady at the end was very unwell. Having been in the psych ward a few times myself, this type of manic behaviour from other ladies was not uncommon. I hope she got help, if that was the case.

Some part of me thinks she and maybe the guy were trying to pull some weird scam or some shit, might work with the shock value, because why didn't the guy she was with call the police, why isn't he even trying to keep her out of traffic, you know? His behaviour was not that of someone trying to help, in my opinion, but maybe I'm wrong
The naked lady was a scam. Couldn't see her body but saw her face and knowing something about her possible ethnicity and how innovative they are I'm certain it was a scam.

12:50 - Cammer didn't submit the full video to give context as to why they flashed them at this point. Obviously the response from car in front was dangerous but makes you think what have we missed here.
Either cammer is inpatient and is flashing them to speed up, or they're road raging. Both make cammer just as bad as the mercedes driver.

Roger is a legend - The other drivers so self-centred and not aware to see that if he had not taken action a chain reaction crash might have involved them and may have been much worse.
That truck driver needs to lose his license. That could have so easily gone south jesus christ. Even taking action could have been damaging there, what if all that second lane was clogged?

Hope it got reported to the DVLA for not wearing those glasses and this would’ve void her insurance too.
the glasses came off during the crash, hence the reason she was looking for them and picked them from the floor of the car.

The Airbag didn't go off too, so she couldn't have lost her glasses in the impact.

The lottery driver might well have been half asleep at the wheel to have got that close to stationary traffic before realising how quickly he was closing on it, so he might sleep very soundly indeed!

It’s estimated that there’s one million+ drivers on the roads in the UK with no insurance, and roughly the same without a license. And after watching channels like this, just proves the fact most really can’t drive.

The first clip is a great example of why you shouldn't even be using your phone while stationary. Great awareness and good response from that driver.
Someone on their phone might have been killed by that reckless driver.
As others have said. Well done Roger - good to see people being alert for a change. This is probably one of the most dangerous things you can do whilst driving - being the last in a queue of traffic on a motorway. Well done sir 👏🏻
I agree with the sentiment, but also wonder if most dangerous is actually second last - you can't see what's going on to the rear very well at all because of the last car, and if they don't move out of the way in a treat impact like that, you're screwed, and if they do manage to do so, you're still likely to be screwed!
8:20 as aggressive as it is, that was a smooth cut up to go back in front of them.
15 seconds until the cam car was finally upon the camper van to overtake, and who knows how much longer he was there before. A mobile chicane.
The black Audi seems to be carrying 3 seconds gap but we’ve no context to know if when the traffic clears that it speeds up or pulls aside. So harder to tell if it’s as bad as the cammer.
Can’t comment on the VW other than the police look upon this very dimly. Yet acceptable in many overseas places.
Yeah undertaking is legal here in Australia and it's great that we can get around these rolling road blocks legally instead of having to sit behind them getting frustrated.

4:31 was Kamil the same lorry driver as the first clip. Three times the cars brake lights came on, a clear sign they didn't know whether they needed to take the exit but you did nothing and kept driving towards them at speed and then were surprised when they made the late exit. Take a lesson from the car driver in the first clip. Even when sat in stationary traffic they are aware of what is going on around them which saved them from a nasty crash.
Sound like motorway isn't the Best place for this car driver
The car isn't permitted to cross the shaded area because it bordered by solid lines, unless it is an emergency. Missing an exit is NOT an emergency and car is 100% wrong

That 1st clip happened to me in 2022 on the motorway. Except it was a guy in a van and he didn’t realise until it was too late and crashed in to me at full speed. So annoying as I was ok, but due to my head injury I had to return my driving license back to DVLA and only got it back last December. He is still claiming that the minor bleed in my brain could have been caused by something else! I finally have a new car, but 9 months pregnant and still traumatised that I don’t even know if I can bear to have my baby in the back seat.
Edit: the worst part is seeing in the mirror that the crash is about to happen and not being able to do anything but just watch because you’re trapped between a barrier and another car

The Police can check his phone records - what time he was on it. Assuming he was, of course. Maybe just daydreaming?
Could have been any number of reasons that he wasn't paying attention. Odd that folk so often just assume phone. He could have been asleep. He could have been mainlining heroin. Watching a DVD. Cutting cutting his toenails.

First clip from Roger is an excellent display of awareness.
But in my experience, being the last in the queue I'm always looking behind until that vehicle stops behind me, then after that, anything that happens behind them I can't really do anything about. I guess that is Rogers good habit too.

He was keeping a sensible gap to the vehicle in front and had the foresight to break when the other drive undertook him. I disagree with you.

@@user-gp9bt6fy4b he wasn't overtaking anything on the lane inside his though, hence the other car's frustration. If you're not overtaking then either speed up to do so then pull over when safe, or pull over if there's already space to do so. Don't sit in an overtaking lane maintaining the same speed as the lane to your left.
A lot of people do that these days, especially on normal roads
First clip is a prime example of why you don't just stare at the car in front (or worse, your phone!) when queuing. Too many drivers switch off their situational awareness while they're not moving.

@@adammcallister2260yes, it’s a common misconception that these are first come first serve (even though the big priority sign is right there to tell you otherwise). The blue car couldn’t clear before the cammer got there and therefore should have yielded. But the cammer should have just slowed down and there wouldn’t have been an incident. Easier and safer for everyone.

We all make mistakes, but that doesn't give you the right to force others to accommodate your mistake. Van driver was in the wrong and should wait until an opportunity comes about to merge safely. I guess the van driver does it regularly to avoid the queue.

4:23, when you had an collision, leave the/you car at exact that spot. Make pictures and then fill in/out the accidant papers.
They way the Passat did it at 8.15 wasn't great but the frustration of following a car in lane three going shower than lane two, and possibly one in the end is understandable. Why can't people just keep left unless overtaking.
