This video really shows how lucky Boo and Happy are to have someone who loves them like Pete does
Ambrose of Milan true...but even though the animals in this video were unwanted at one time or another, they now seem healthy and maintained with care.
@@greekossandals I guess its a nuance thing. Boo pretty much drew a winning hand with this guy but most of these animals didn't. Now they get the runner up. Way better than being left helpless in the wild but not the one on one that most of them need to be happy or rehabilitated. The monkeys in the cage weren't the neurotic broken minded ones you see in some of those awful videos coming from China and Cambodia so hands down this woman is going above and beyond what most people can do, I think people just want to see things perfect so badly they can't help but point out what could be better.

Amanda Watanabe those animals might be living healthy lives, howeverthey lack that same loving bond that makes watching Pete and Boo interacting so heartwarming
Ambrose of Milan Most of the animals seem to be partnered up (not always with their own species, not that that seems to matter to them) with other animals. This is a better fate for animals that might otherwise end up as food in the best case scenario-like the pigs and goats-or continue to languish in inept care for possibly many years in the worst case scenario. The bond animals can have with each other is just as “special” as that which humans and animals might have.
Life isn’t perfect for anyone, that includes animals too-either in the wild or in captivity, things could always be better. This sanctuary looks like a legitimate place, judging by the appearance and temperament of the animals as well as the knowledge exhibited by their caretaker. All I had meant was that there was a bright side-especially for pigs and such that are livestock who don’t normally spend the rest of their days in a sanctuary. Tbh, those animals there are living better lives, with more care than many people in the world. I’d say they’re pretty lucky, all things considered.
Unfortunately, most of us don’t live in a world of ideals.

Boo and Happy really show a lot of affection and trust with their human friend--like when they get close to the big cats, the monks just huddle up with him. like "We're safe as houses with our buddy, he won't let that big cat eat us!"

This is the first time all the attention goes to the animals in the sanctuary. That's the way it should be, respect to all animals in our planet, and utmost respect to Care Foundation and Christine for caring for all the rescued animals, who otherwise would've died due to cruelty outside. We are being made superior to them so that we can take care of them and not show dominance. That's what God had intended initially when he created us.

Yeah there’s only so much they can do they’re trying their best you can see by how tame the animals are that she takes good care of em and you can tell she really cares for these animals and does the best she can
Pete pointed and said they have this big area they can go out into that all the cages are connected to and they just don’t let two males out at the same time. So I don’t think the tigers spend 24/7 in the smaller cages but are let into the bigger area also.

Master Exploder Nothing’s perfect. Every one of the animals (at least the ex-pets) in that sanctuary is probably better off there than wherever they were before.
Thank you for the tour of this beautiful animal refuge. If only people would stop keeping wild animals as pets. This woman has devoted her life to these animals. I hope she has enough volunteers to help her with the care.

I love that there are places like this that rescue these poor animals who deserved much better than to be discarded due to the stupidity of mankind. Kristen is doing a wonderful thing here! And thank you Pete for showing us and educating those who want so badly to 'own' a monkey or exotic animal who are not prepared for all that's involved with the up keep and well being of these beautiful creatures- It's clear they belong free in the wild!

I have an absolute fascination of monkeys of all kinds. I watch various videos and documentaries on the hundreds of different types of monkeys in the world. They are all the same yet so different if that makes sense. But fascinating and addictive to watch creatures.

Awesome. What a great place, it's nice too see all the different animals being looked after equally, even some odd pairings hanging out together! Very cool. Huge respect to the C.A.R.E foundation and the people that run it! Annoys me that people would abandon their animals, whatever they are. Need's to be more places like this, every animal/creature deserves compassion and a nice, safe place to live. They are doing a really nice thing with that they have, I love that. Cool too see the monks talking to each other and the one that kicked her paws, that was cute :D All the animals are cute! I'd take em all if I had enough money, ALL THE ANIMALS!!!!! And WOW, Kristen.. what a badass! And a really awesome person, seems to have a personal bond with the animals, raising them, letting them in her home! That was CRAZY with the huge liger! I would go to this place tomorrow if I lived in the US, I'm from UK so unfortunately I can't (anytime soon) This was a really cool video... AND AMUS! What a legend XD Drinking an empty monster can, just like me right now except it's not empty :P

it saddens and angers me that most of those beautiful animals are ex pets. I'm glad there are people like Kristen and her staff members who have sanctuaries like these that house all those amazing creatures. it may not be the ideal living conditions for those animals, but they do the best they can to give them the love and care that they deserve.

Fantastic awareness video, so relieved these animals are safe now, what is wrong with humans who take on wild animals and neglect and abuse them. Boo crew your the best and so loved. 💕
