    It looks like well designed for such a large space. Normally, one would need trams from concourse to concourse, and this is all within walking distance due to its star shaped building. Of course, that'd mean large real estate land size to host it, and it means transport between airport to the city must be efficient. These things cost a lot of money and need technology like bullet train to make it happen.

    Nice architecture! I transited at PEK (Capital) a few times. Transfer was very easy there for a quick connection on Air China. At PVG (Pudong) it was a bit more complex, but I liked it very much because I had a huge advantage there that I had lots of time to take the subway into the city during my layover and still make it back to the airport in time for the next flight. I hope I can transit through Daxing some day, or better yet, just arrive there and stay in Beijing for a while. Otherwise on the Mainland I've been through Qingdao Liuting, since replaced by Jiaodong (hope you can film that one too). Xiamen Gaoqi, still in use, maybe not as modern, but very friendly and great atmosphere, and Shanghai-Hongqiao, I love fairly compact, very busy and close to the city.

    The airport looks beautiful from the outside but I'm quite disappointed with the interior. There doesn't appear to be many shops, or restaurants. It feels cold, sterile, and lifeless. The airport needs plants, lots of plants to help give it some color and fresh air. Water features would be most welcome especially since Beijing is arid and has no large bodies of water. So large ponds, aquariums and water falls would really help liven up the place. They would also help with the feng shui. They should hire me as a consultant. hehe

    The airport is huge, but also cold, and institutional. I flew in and out of there on China Air and I will try to avoid flying in and out of China. The security check was extreme on a connecting flight from the US to Manila with a stop in Beijing. I found the employees to be unfriendly and I was surprised that they charge $20 US per person to take you on a cart from the main area outside internal screening to your boarding gate. Pay or risk missing your flight. This is a take it or leave it experience at it's best.

    Sân bay lớn nó sẽ lợi nhưng cũng có hại về việc di chuyển quá dài khiến bạn tốn nhiều thời gian và mệt mỏi. Điều này cần 1 phương tiện đi lại cá nhân giúp mọi người di chuyển trong sân bay chẳng hạn như xe điện robot cỡ nhỏ với đầy đủ hệ thống bản đồ sân bay hoặc các cửa hàng, chơi kiểm tra vé,...Các con robot sẽ giúp bạn di chuyển đến nơi bạn cần. Đối với 1 sân bay cái mà các nhà ga gộp thành một thể thống nhất vì phương tiện di chuyển là rất cần thiết. Đối với những sân bay có các nhà ga nhỏ tách liền như sân bay Changi Singapore đã có tàu hoả điện kết nối các nhà ga và mỗi nhà ga cũng không quá lớn vì vậy việc di chuyển là dễ dàng. Trong tương lai việc xây dựng 1 sân bay có nhiều nhà ga tách rời là điều tốt bởi nó giúp không gian thông thoáng ko bị ngột ngạt như sân bay Đại Hưng Bắc Kinh

    China is a socialist country. That means the gap between the wealthy and the poor is considerably smaller than that in the western economies. When China develops the state is getting richer and the public buildings, infrastructure, train stations, metro systems, parks and public transport will get better and modernised. In the US the top 1% has the same wealth as the bottom 90% so no one can see how the top 1% lives. In China the state is now rich and that is now reflected in the public buildings. This fits in well with "together for a shared future" and "common prosperity" now increasingly used.

      A governance system is unique to each country depending on its historical development, natural resources/geography and population. You can't put a simple label like "democracy" or "socialist" to represent the whole system. Since China has used public fund to build for the public use the airports, roads, bridges, HSR and metro better, larger and more modern than any democratic country I think socialist is the closest you can describe it.

      @gunsumwong3948 Před rokem

      @@anitathakur9340 I am truly amazed by the western culture on "labelling" . It is more important to you to choose a correct label for the Chinese governance system. The end result of Chinese governance is of no interest to you or should it be to the 1.4 billion population. The westerner's view is each country must be governed rigidly according to what it has been labelled and cannot do anything out outside its labelled boundary.
      US and UK are both best known democratic countries but UK has a NHS public health care that treats every citizen for free. Such public health care is a 100% communism. US public health care is 100% private. No money no cure and the system has been rigged to milk the citizens instead of serving them. Thus during the covid pandemic US became the country with the worst infection and with most death even its public health care is the world's most advanced in the world. US may be labelled as the world best and most advanced public health care but everyday during the covid US has both infected cases and covid deaths more than the 54 countries in the whole of Africa put together pretty much throughout the whole pandemic.
