Wow! what a massive treat I'm a huge Quad fan and seeing some pic's I've never seen was a delight, such a crying shame that so much of the film was cut and that was was cut was thrown away.
Saw this movie, in the early 1980's, when I was an angst ridden teenager. At the time, I was eating my heart out over a girl I was never destined to ever have. I lived vicariously through him in the movie. Glad I did not kill myself.
Captured the summer of '64 perfectly based on the scuffles at Clacton, Margate & Brighton. The purists moved on afterwards as Modernism became commercialised.
Great vid. Quadrophenia is my favourite film. but reading Phil Daniels book was very boring to be honest. it hasnt put me off the film but his book rubbish.

When the movie first came out it blew me away. Today it still does along with the music of The Who!
