In 1980, an innocent nursery school teacher would go from anonymity to worldwide superstardom practically overnight. I gave it 3 minutes and it was NOT a documentary about her early years.
So awful, He doesn't even look at her once while saying his vows. One look at his face, it looks like he's just lost his best friend in the whole world. This wedding should never have been allowed to happen. Such a tragedy for all involved.
It was an arranged marriage - between two Aristocratic/dynastic families. The Windsor's & the Spencer's which is more blue blood than the RF. It was tragic in the end as Charles was too old for Diana - the 12yr age gap was the beginning of the end.
@@mlk27743 he was too old regardless of blue blood and he was too busy as prince of wales to sit in a palace playing prince and Princess with her new title 🙄and she was too young and sick in the head and didnt realise a Princess has a job so when he went to work, she perceived it as been neglected. She was treated as a nobody when in fact she was far too classy for the stuffy RF. I prefer the spencers over the Windsors.

This program is misleading in its title. Twenty minutes in, her wedding to Prince Charles is shown and her life after marriage becomes the subject.
She was far too young, idealistic, and immature for this role. Charles should have made a better effort to help her adjust. They were generations apart. Charles always had feelings for Camilla, too. Nobody would have filled Camilla's shoes sadly. He should have been allowed to marry her instead of Diana.
