Jimin is the consummate proffessional, and being the perfectionist that he is, even though his performance is flawless, he still wants to do better. This man captures the audience with his siren eyes, his fluid movements and sincerity in his voice. His voice is unique and has been proven to put babies to sleep. He always puts 300% into his performances and practices until his muscles give in and the pain is unbearable - and then pushes on anyway. He truly is an artist, a performer and was born for the stage. He deserves all the accolades coming his way💜💜

To truly appreciate all that Jimin is, his dance skills canNOT be left out. That is literally what got me into BTS. He creates TRULY beautiful dance lines and stories with his professionally trained and incredible skills in this area.
There are SO many compilations of his dancing online, some better than others. I would encourage you to check them out so that you truly understand the magnitude of his skill in this area. There is also a video of him performing his song Filter, which is stunning. The video is from an online BTS concert during Covid so it’s not perfect, but if you can ignore the poor behind-the-scenes camera work, it’s my favorite thing he’s ever done.
Of course, I said that he’s what got me into BTS…but That’s what’s so amazing about them, is that one of them draws you in and then you realize that there’s seven times MORE to love! They are ALL incredible….as I sit here listening to RM’s Indigo tonight, and waiting for Yoongi’s live streamed performance from Seoul at 4 AM my time tomorrow morning.
But as much as I love them ALL, Jimin has remained my personal BTS bias. 💜 Thank you for this reaction!!

One of my favorite things RM has ever said about Jimin is that, "... he is the axis that the stage rotates around." This was choreographed by Brian Puspos who was one of the choreographers and back-up dancers for Jungkook's "Seven".
No one and i repeat no one come close to jimin. Such a unique artist. He's one of a kind. And you see how talented he is and then look at his beautiful face and his sweet funny humble personality, he's the whole package.

❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! Yes each member can have a very distinct Persona when on stage alone but at this moment Jimin is very much Jimin of BTS conveying the Love Yourself concept which BTS was putting out during the period this song originated. While this track has a long history of being misinterpreted due to its sensual qualities, it actually is more a celebration of moving out of a sheltered cocoon and having sensory indulgence of the wonders of the world around you. Jimin is showing joy and love as he opens himself up to the experience of his own being in the context of a broader world he has sheltered himself from truly engaging. OG's will remember the colored forest during the Wings short films. I think Jimin is embracing that forest.

I like 'Lie'too the most
BTS really has set a standard in music for me. Their performance, sets, lyrics, emotions, all add to the story that they're telling. And they have trained my ear to hear all the different layers in the music. I can't listen to "noise" music anymore. where it's just monotone beats with no interesting layers. In the past, i preferred studio recorded songs more then lives, because most artists are pretty horrible live. but with bts, i prefer their live performances over their studio recorded songs. i think that says a lot about their ability to put on great performances. true artists!
