V really has such striking charisma on stage. In the same way an actor captivates an audience he pulls people in and mesmorizes them, making them wait for his next move curious as to what performance he'll show (which fits since hes a pretty good actor himself). Tho aside from the performance aspect, the lyrics are actually quite deep. This was the intro song for the second album in their love yourself album trilogy called "Love yourself: Tear". The first album of the series (Love yourself: Her) talks about falling in love and the bliss that comes with that. The second is realizing if you change yourself for someone else its not real love, and the last album (Love yourself: Answer) is about learning that you have to love yourself before loving anyone else. Tear, expressed the sadness, ugliness, and turmoil that comes with losing yourself. How you put on a mask, sacrifice yourself, and become everything your not for the person you love, losing your own voice in the process and becoming someone you don't recognize. All that said that's why this song was the perfect intro to the album because it pretty much covers all those topics (if you want, you can take another look at the lyrics in your free time on doolset, they go much more in detail/depth😁😊💜✌🏾)

Thank you for this reaction. Love this song so much! That's actually with this song that I found out about V. I just felt in love with his voice. I needed to hear more, so I check his solo songs and felt more for the guy. Then I came across BTS catalogue and found out they were an amazing group. I am not really into pop music so I didn't took the time to dig more aside from their bit hits.
