Another good video. After my comment on that one post where I pretty much said it’s all pushing products now and you responded, I did go back and watch and damn dude. You’ve definitely made ALOT of videos. All with tips and like you said there’s only so many tips you can give really. Guess I just always found the other stuff more entertaining but hey I’ve watched a video on your booster pump and your ventrac fuel switch being off and loved those soo.. thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. I know you’ve made several drought stress videos in the past but still I love it because then like if you remake older videos with tips you can maybe add some extra things you’ve recently learned or something. Anywho, good video Pete have a great night

Thank you sir. I appreciate you more than you know. I do ask that you always keep in mind this is sometimes boring for me if I’m being honest. Lawncare is extremely repetitive and I have to mix it up from time to time so I don’t lose interest. Remember I’ve been doing this 20 years day in and day out. When those times show up in a video please be patient with me. I’m only scratching an itch that must be scratched in order for me to stay interested in making content. The other option is I stop making videos all together. Again I appreciate you.

I’ll say this publicly so you know it and anyone else who reads this knows it. My local company no longer pays my salary. You and anyone else that watches my videos and buys stuff from my website pays my salary along with 3 other employees salaries. So what you call “pushing products” I call making a living and providing for my family and the families of those other 3 employees. I’m not telling you this out of retaliation I’m telling you so you know the context behind some of the videos. I’ve never really considered myself a product pusher, I just show something and give you my take on it is all. Hope this helps you to understand more why some videos are like they are. I appreciate your time friend.

@@GCITurfThank you for the reply man. Yeah it dawned on me the other day you must get tired of repeating the same old stuff over and over again when you could be showing off new and exciting equipment. When I got a new mower I was all excited about it so no wonder you would rather show off something that makes yard work wayyy easier while having fun doing so as opposed to just standing in the yard talking. 🤦‍♂️ your good tho man I can’t even talk about that stuff honestly though because even though I was just the one saying spraying and all that is not what we want, guess what? I bought a flowzone off you and got all into it and now I love spraying different stuff and guess where I went to learn? I went to all ur spray videos soooo definitely had a selfish approach saying that when you have a super broad spectrum. Speaking of that, it’s insane how you have a literal dedicated video in that link after buying the tips and all showing how to use and calibrate it all. You don’t have to take the time to show us and do that but you do so thanks because without that I wouldn’t have a clue how the heck to spray. 🤦‍♂️ but yes so no, I take that stuff back mixing it up is good because eventually people are gonna wanna spray they’re yard like many already do and who covers that? You. You cover everything from what I’ve seen outside of just hey this is what to look for for this in your yard.

@@GCITurfyeah never thought about that either, I mean to an extent, when your “pushing products” 😂 Not really, your not only benefitting yourself, your also benefiting the diy guys who want something to make they’re life easier so win win. Plus it’s your channel, like you said you’ve been doing this for a long ass time you can do whatever you want and we should respect it because your still giving lawn care type videos and even if they aren’t helpful to one person, they can very well be to someone else and it’s selfish to say otherwise. Just like how your spray videos used to not be something I thought I’d ever need and now… 😅. But yeah i understand you have a family, I’ll have to go back and see if I can’t binge watch every video you’ve ever posted to help your profits haha. Good stuff man and looking forward to the next video! Dont know how you do it! The more I watched you though the more I realized maybe it’s not really the grass videos I enjoy, but simply just your videos, there was zero grass content in the 2 “bad day” videos you’ve made. you’ve got a good personality and your stuffs just entertaining regardless tbh so post whatever you want, we’ll be watching it. 🇺🇸 🤙🏼

This confirms the Importance of simply walking your yard regularly. A person really starts to learn the micro climates that exist and identify trouble areas.

Pete, great info as always. You keep me on my toes learning all this new stuff. Thank you. What size nozzles are in your irrigation heads? I know you've got that bonkers well capacity. How much water are you putting out at 20 min per zone?

Hey Pete awesome Channel brother been a long time follower but I think this is my first comment on one of your videos. So I was recently watching a video you had made last year I believe about your watering schedule for your 3 different areas of grass you have. I was just curious, for your TTTF lawn around your house with your in ground irrigation system, what size nozzles do you utilize in your hunter I-20’s? I’m sure your well like you mentioned has a significantly higher output than mine so I was just curious to what size nozzles you run in your heads. My system only puts out around 15 GPM. So on some of my zones that I have 180 heads and 360 heads I run 2.0 GPM nozzles in my 180’s and 3.0 in my 360. I know ideally I would want 4.0 in the 360 heads to get matched precipitation for that zone but I can’t really do that without exceeding that 15 GPM for my system output. But in some of those zones the turf gets blasted by the sun all day so having upgraded my 1.5 GPM nozzles to 2.0 it’ll give those areas that get heat stress a little faster a chance to get some more water.
