It warms my heart to watch these folk grow old, it warms my heart that they passed it on but it breaks me to watch them suffer. The salt, and sugar and yeast, of the earth. I owe a great debt to these people, they taught me everything I couldn't figure out myself and they delivered me a craft and they introduced me to Popcorn! C'mon y'all????? They are like those two old farts on the Muppet Show but if they were the likkur version of Cheech and Chong....Listen to them bicker like an old married couple...

My Grandpa when my Grandmother died then he married her sister. Then she died and he married the other sister. True story he was also a moonshiner just like myself.

Tennessee always has more limestone than North Carolina. Once you cross that ridge into NC the limestone starts to go away.

I met them in 2018 at Bubba fest in pigeon forge Tennessee. They were really great . We got a picture with them and they let me taste some stuff that they brought. Just real nice guys.
