Marion lives in Bangkok, Thailand and travels throughout Asia to find the most unique and delicious Asian food recipes, dishes and ingredients. - Jak na to + styl
*White blouse + saucy soy dish.* Marion sure loves to live on the edge like a true Asian kitchen rebel. 👍
Ren RN 😆😆😆🙌
I can just hear my mom scolding me for cooking in white...
When she’s frying as well.
Where is your apron, Marion?
@@darcyferrigno Isn't a white apron warranted here? I think she had filming in mind rather than cooking.
Marion, I often remove the mushroom stems before they’re soaked. Put those stems in a food processor, they will turned into mushroom powder which can be used in general cooking for flavour.
That is a great tip, thanks 😊
How much garlic do you need?
Marion: Yes
Lol. In India.. if a recipe calls for a clove of garlic, we add 10😃. Asians cannot do without it.
hahahaha .. I guess that says it all ...:)
Liji2084 - it’s a similar story in Other parts of the world, like France, Italy and the Middle East to name but a few places
LMAO, yes, when a recipe calls for 1 clove, i'm like, so I need the whole head xD
Same, both me and my husband are obsessed with garlic. 1 clove=whole head. Probably go through 5 heads a week :) (also about 2kg of onions and loaaads of chilies). He's Finnish and I'm Russian lol.
The bad thing about these videos is that they are uploaded minutes before my bedtime (here in the Philippines) when my stomach is empty and Im getting really big noodle cravings.
the red-handed savage 😆😆😆
Just cooked this tonight - it is the most delicious noodle dish I’ve ever made!! I am so so impressed with myself & I thank you so much for this recipe Marion! 💕💕
My husband, from North China, loved this recipe. He said it reminds him of his mom who lives in different country. Thank you
Marion, you're simply one of the most daintiest chef on this planet. Joy watching your videos.
This is one of my favourite dish since I was teenager. All that roasted pork, Roast Duck, and Char Siu. After 40 yrs, finally know how to make them myself, and impress my family. Thanks to generous people like you and many others sharing your “SECRET “ recipes, and all tips and tricks for food preparation. Many, many 👍🏻. 11:03pm, I’m so hungry watching your video. I’m gonna do this dish + deep fry snapper w/sweet chilli sauce + stir fried Broccoli w/oyster sauce for my family. 😋 😋 😋
I always end up hungry after watching your video. I have cooked many of the food following your videos.
Love, love, love your channel. Thanks for sharing amazing recipes that even I can make. You can see how much love and thought you put into every dish! 🥰
Love you the fact you’re making authentic Chinese food recipes. Your recipe makes me nostalgic :(
Making this for dinner tonight...Cold dreary rainy day here....
Who needs Gordon Ramsey?
Who needs his masterclass that is very expensive.
Marion is less fuss, less fluff. Real hearty food.
Everyone needs gordon ramsey
Gordon Ramsey's son, because it's emotionally and financially difficult to grow up without a father in general
Ramsey. In. Yes. Beautiful.
Yo i gotta say, i love how the chef tastes her food. it's so elegant and pairs wonderfully with her manner of speaking. That lipstick don't smudge!! Her Presentation is just as good as the food LMao!😋-
I tried the recipe and it was fabulous 💞 my husband loved it so much it's on the regular menu at our house.
I can’t believe you’re eating this with a white shirt. Your Superpower must be eating elegantly! I’d need shares in my local Dry Cleaners 😅

Ummmm delicious I’m trying this recipe thank you Marion.💐💐
The special thing about her videos are, I can taste those foods without cooking because she's expert in describing the taste of everything like I feel like I have tasted it already. Amazing!!!
You're so wrong.... the stem of shiitake mushroom is so flavorful.... not only does it infuse its rich earthy aroma, it also gives a chewy texture with return of the sweetness of meat in it.... Love it especially in clay pot rice.... 🥰🥰🥰
Well, I do mean the very top quality dried shiitake mushrooms.... Nothing goes to waste!!!!
JennT WithLove Well that’s interesting! Maybe I need to up my dried mushroom game! Will see if I can find even better quality ones. I’d definite prefer not to waste them 😊
The recipe look so delicious and not too hard to make 👍🏻

I make noodles like this all the time. Love your authentic cooking Marion! Have been a fan since the MasterChef days.
I just tried this recipe. My fist time cooking an Asian meal and it came out WONDERFUL. PERFECT!! I doubled the recipe and ended up with a lot of sauce and I used lo mein noodles. I ate one serving and had to leave. I came home and went to bed thinking I was going to eat some more the next day. It was gone!!! I was so upset. GREAT RECIPE!!! THX
The way you narrate your cooking is more delicious than the food 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Your videos and you speaking is a therapy ❤️❤️

Hi Marion! Love your channel!! Honestly, this really fixed all my concerns and doubts towards oriental cuisine and its giving me will to try it all! One thing I would like and that maybe could serve for lots of viewers is one video concerning practical organization for weekday meals.. like a student 101 help course 😄. Thank you so much for your channel and keep it up! :) Pedro
I thought I was the only person that cooked without flame. Glad to see others using this technique! I will definitely try this recipe, looks yummy.
I made this dish last night for a second time, just wow! Those flavors are everything! Its difficult to get Chinese broccoli up here in Wine Country (no Asian markets) so I substituted with broccolini. Nailed it! Thank you for sharing your recipes and techniques, Marion! #inspiration

Made it for dinner tonight - delicious!!!! I reduced the liquid in a big wide pan after cooking the chicken so that it would be more concentrated and stick better to the noodles too!
