@@stasis760 dude I’m looking forward to running blink with snapskating. Imagine snap canceling into an astrocyte blink, then hitting them with the arc slide melee, prismatic is about to be nuts
Plenty! It adds overall momentum, both to your normal burst glide and your Icarus dash combo. On top of allowing you to instantly change direction while maintaining momentum. It’s essentially just a slide cancel, and very, very strong tech to know. Even lets you get near max momentum from standing still, if you get the timings right
Its slide, then jump and super at the same time. Trying to use your super without it being fully charged makes the melee animation and the sound. You need to have a fully charged melee and an uncharged super

Unless you’re also just wondering how my base snapskate is so fast, and that again really is just timing. Yeah im weird I write essays on the internet yeah yeah yeah whatever. Theres a tldr at the bottom if you've been watching too much brainrot, but are still interested. While snap skating is quite easy to do, it takes a high level of skill to be able to use it with such aggression. Usually used to make quick retreats( at least thats how I've seen relatively normal players, as well as myself, use it.) This is because it allows you to make a slide in any direction and allows you to retain your momentum. For example, you can peak lanes you know a sniper is watching, but do a 180 and snap skate outta there to make your opponents burn green. However, it does also boost you into the air and extend the speed that you get from sliding. From what I can glean from this video, Pandem uses it in two ways. Both to increase initial momentum, then use it to approach an angle both quicker and at a higher altitude than people normally expect. The three piece at 00:22 is a great example. Pandem used it to rotate faster and make the jump easier, which is relatively normal, then pushed the titan WAY faster than is normally expected. Also, you can see the Titan does in fact have their shotgun out, and was prepared for Pandem to push, but was looking at where someone would normally slide in. Overall, its for sure a good way to use the tech, and I might try flavoring some of my own gameplay up with it as well. If you play solar warlock, and don't know how to snap skate, I'd suggest taking a peak at it. Theres a whole bunch of videos on it. It really doesn't hurt. Tldr: Pandem shows here a very unique way to use snap skating. Its not normal, as far as I know, and will work well with aggressive team mates.
Well said! I usually see snap skating used rather defensively as well, and like you said it’s an extremely versatile piece of movement tech. At its core it’s a slide cancel and a momentum booster, so beating player engrained timings really helps with throwing off both aim and gamesense of other players. Also just extremely hard to react to sometimes. All in all tho happy you could have some positive takeaways from the video 🙏 gl on implementing!
