In my snapskating tutorial I show all my binds! I play 1750 dpi on 5 sens with a 0.6 add modifier iirc

How do you go so fast every time i do the snap tech it gives me a boost but like not as much of a boost as i see you getting any like tips?
It really is just down to timing. Right out of the snapskate I’m immediately tapping jump, Icarus dash, and then jump again all in quick succession to Icarus dash boost out of the snapskate. Unless you’re also just wondering how my base snapskate is so fast, and that again really is just timing. TLDR across the board like, the closer your inputs are to each other, the faster you’ll go for the most part

@@onepiece3428 no dim link tho I can try for future videos! I’m gonna be honest on warlock I tend to just run pure stat boosting fragments, unless I’m full on build crafting that tends to be the case across the board. So for the snapskating clips, nothing special. Cycled between Igenous Hammer and Lunas Howl, shotgun was Imperial Decree

How come it plays the beginning of the snap animation when you never actually press melee?
Well it is unintentional, notice how when you try to pop your super without it charged it just defaults to doing powered melee. But since you’re not technically using your powered melee bind, nothing happens. So that melee animation is used as a slide animation cancel, hence the snapskate!

@@willw.1734 that’s the only thing, technically not. When super is charged it, well, pops your super (you’re using the super keybind for it after all)

True. My kd tends to fall like 1.0 behind my kda for reference tho, after playing around a month with the alt I’m sitting comfortably at a 2.8 with a 3.65 kda, evened out a bit once I started matching better players and my sbmm adjusted

ok so serious question(s), how useful is snap skating ACTUALLY and would it be worth it to take the time to learn it for the average player? i know its probably fun to do and all but in terms of sheer usefulness how good is it? also how often do situations come up where snap canceling is straight up better than just playing without it?
Maybe I’m biased but imo it’s game changing tech. There are so many fights I’ve won purely because of it, whether it’s snap skating back to cover faster than if I had to turn around and normally slide, beating a timing because of the sheer speed I pick up, back pedalling mid fight to dodge a shotty shot and cleaning up with a primary. It allows you to be SUPER evasive and aggressive, escape, and be passive safely. Also makes it easier to challenge snipers because you’re peaking the lane in an unorthodox way. Imo its just a new way to play the game. It’s not necessary, especially for the average player, but is it extremely powerful and useful? Hell yea, I be breaking top 500 players ankles with it
