Rio is a place that will leave you wanting more. It has an amazing gay scene and indescribable nature. It’s a seaside city fringed with great beaches too.
Every year, Rio De Janeiro hosts the world’s biggest carnival. It’s a pretty wild party and it’s very gay. Rio is unique. It’s cast a spell for many years. It’s one of those cities you have to see at least once in a lifetime.

I travel a lot, and visiting Brazil was the best experience ever! The country is soooo beautiful. Florianopolis and Rio are true gems. And people are super hot. The shame I didn´t get laid. But I was so mesmerized by Brazil that I did not care much. The beaches, nature, and people are second to none. Just amazing!

Amazing list. I only have 6 days though and it seems impossible to cover all of them. Which one should I prioritize? which is the most emblematic/famous gay party for NYE?
They will all be good but I usually go to
28th December - Morra da Urca - A pre-New Year’s Eve Tradition (the location is amazing) - I usually go to this one
The Home - gay club, you can go any day that you don't have a party
Guapo - it is one of the favorite parties for the Brazilian gays They will have a party on the 30rd and the 1st - I usually go to this one
31st - Pra Poucos - 31st - The party is really expensive. You may pay 200 Euros for the ticket but you will see really hot Brazilians there
31st - Joy, Brasil’s - I usually go to this one.
The biggest parties are on the 1st in the gay circuit.
The Original Pool Party - Last two years people got disappointed with this party due to the bad structure but this is the biggest one - well known for foreigners - I usually go to this one
Guapo - Most of the Brazilians will probably go to this one due to what I mentioned above. it is the first year having a party on the 1st also.

Eu fui pra um cruising na PEDRA DO RECREIO uns anos atrás. Meu amigo morava lá e fomos. Eu vou ao Rj de novo em 1º de SET.
Eu adorei a praia do Abricó que é uma praia nudista mas mais pro fundo é um cruising das gays.
Tbm achei bem cheia a praia da reserva. Realmente gostei do cruising lá. Claro que final de semana é bem mais cheio e la só da pra ir de carro.

When is the best/ cheapest time of year to come?! I am from the uk but live in turkiye most of the year so being able to go here would give me the life I would love!!!!
The best time to go is definitely summer time from December to February.
You also find two big events that concentrate lots of gay Brazilians and from all over the world which are New Year’s Eve and carnival.
Of course the prices will be higher also.
Rio is mainly warm all year along but it can be cold (15 to 20 degrees) in other months specially june, july and august (not common but can happen).
can’t wait to come back for Carnival!

Muddy rivers are due to sand naturally falling into the water because of the intense water stream destroying the riverbanks. By the way, have you ever seen the Amazon? Bro, it's definetely muddy 😅, so Brazil isn't always nice and blue as you thought.

It will soon turn into Hawaii and Los Angeles. I love the culture of other countries which is the reason I travel to other countries. I don't need America in Mexico. The problem is when you’re surrounded by such a hot guys you need to be really fit if you want to score. Otherwise you can only look or pay for sex. Very sad gay reality 😢
Unfortunately that is part of the truth. Luckily some places you find establishments where they have tribes and you can go to ones that are mainly for people that like your type. Like in madrid but in a way, even the ones that are fit feel exactly the same as you no matter how they look, they will always look for the “next thing up” and will get rejected. It’s the never good enough syndrome.
