The good ol' reliable. Also shout out to Vaylantz for being an archetype whose only viable gameplan consists of 3 casual floodgates despite having more supports than an anime shounen protagonists.
lol I also tried building a Vaylantz deck, this deck is so dumb. You run out of time doing the vaylantz combo only for your deck to be carried by normal summon Fossil dyna lmao
Same, hard part is trying to think of a vaylantz deck that doesn't involve normal summoning a floodgate Can't even think of any non floodgate normal summon that can be searched by a generic rank 4, only knowing Gear Gigant (machine) and Granite (rock)....

@devtehdrhax866 Going 2nd Vaylantz. You give them a Lava Golem/Kaiju, put it in backrow with konig wissen, bounce it with Grand Duke, then beat them up. Dominator can also steal a monster to use as fodder for Duke or Arctos, or just clear the way for the OTK. Can use the Kaijus as Small World bridges too. Lv8 Vaylantz into Moth Kaiju into Kendo spirit for those times your Electrumite/BtP gets negated. It's a bit more bricky but it very much works and is much more fun for both players. And if it fails, you just play Vaylantz like normal.

How to fix YuGiOh: delete floodgates. Don't just put them on banlist, they might find a wayoff of there. Remove them from existence. Especially junk like that stupid dino in the middle of that board of yours, or the barrier statues, or let's say, maybe, skill drain, imperial order, stuff like these. You know, tha cards that make the game unplayeable for most decks when they have to go 2nd due to their opponent wanting to go first. Floodgates like secret villiage of the spellcasters, that can be turned against the user, can stay at 1 copy I guess.
Village would be useless, as first, doesn't have a spellcaster, and second, could just go for Evenly first anyways (Which obviously would had kept Pachicefalo, then bam, Ruler) Also opponent messed up, as by using Evenly first would let him to keep the useful card, in this scenario Called by
Yep, it's my main Combo, 3 Dark Ruler and 3 Evenly Match in my Deck all the time in current meta. Not sure if it effective with upcoming Kashtira but it helped me a lot recently for coming second.😂
Dark ruler is not really good against kashtira since shangri-Ira's zone-lock effect is a lingerring effect so you would need smth like book of moon or book of eclipse
They do have a few actually. Off my head examples are "Swords of revealing light", "Flame Wingman", and the pink Bird Earthbound Immortal, whose name i'm too lazy to look up.
