I have a question regarding this panel (I am sure it has been asked before though). What´s the difference between having the color panel and adding a BW layer or a B to W gradient on top and shuffling? Or having this BW panel and removing the BW conversion? Isn´t it a little redundant to purchase both?

So the last month or so I was thinking about purchasing the full Nik Collection. I love how easy it is and the results I am getting from it. This Infinite Color Panel plugin seems like it makes processing a lot quicker and easier.

Unmesh, I'm into the Fine Art Black and White photography and most of the time I'm spending on creating hard selections and I'm trying to use luminosity masks for this. Otherwise I need to manual select every single part of my image. Is there a video from you I should watch to learn more about this ? Or do you have any advice on how to make this more easy and less time consuming ?

I looked at the Regions option. They're all identical full image curves that are choked by different Blend If adjustments to target the respective luminosity ranges. Given that, I don't see the reason why you would, for example, pull down a point on the left side of the curve when seeking to make a highlight adjustment, as in the example of the black and white headshot of the woman.

hi there. when I go "window ---extension-- all I have as an option is adobe color themes. I don't see the infinite black and white. I looked it up under extensions list. but is not listed

P.S. In the beginning the installation of the panel failed (ZXPInstaller reported, "Installation failed because the extension is not compatible with the installed applications."), which I "solved" via ...
1. Rename file extension “Infinite Black and White.zxp” from ‘ZXP’ to ‘ZIP’
2. Unpack the resulting ZIP archive
3. Copy the resulting “Infinite Black and White” folder and paste it into the directory for the extensions corresponding to your operating system:
- If you are a user of Windows, paste folder into Directory:
Program Files (x86)\CommonFiles\Adobe\CEP\extensions
- If you are a user of MacOS, paste folder into Directory:
Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/CEP/extensions

Unmesh will always be using the latest version of Photoshop, but most of his techniques will work in any of the later "CS/Creative Suite" versions from around the mid 2000s. I'd recommend a "CC" product from around 2015 onwards, depending on your budget.
Jayesh, you can use Photoshop Creative Cloud, there's also a version available for CS6 as well.
