Thanksgiving in MY Hometown and Laying My Dad to Rest.

- This week I revisit my childhood hometown and while there say goodbye and lay my dad to rest on his parents old family farm. Was a bitter sweet time re visiting all my old memories and at the same time saying goodbye to my dad. In the end I found the perfect place.

I lived in Jasonville until I was 14 and Farmersburg after that. Watching this brought back great old memories. Terry Passon (sp) son , Todd was in my class at Shakamak. I used to love fishing Prarie Creek Park.
We knew Todd well. So sad what happened. My parents were close to terry and Kathy and family
I’m so glad you had the opportunity to go home. My brother and I did that a few years ago, in our hometown.
Also, I believe you found the perfect place for your dad. God Bless buddy.

Nice stroll down memory lane. So sorry for your loss. My dad has been gone for 20 years now but I still want to tell/ask him about things.. For me it's a mixed bag of emotions when I go back home. Regardless , I think it's still good to go back and see where you began your life.😊
It’s been a tough 5 years. Lost mom and dad and Alli lost her stepdad and mom. 😢

Thank you! Yes not easy for sure. Lost mom in 2019 and dad in 2022. Officially an orphan now. Miss them every day that’s for sure.
I also graduated from NC class of 85.
I was class of 87 so we had to been there together 😉
