100 years in the future. It sounds like being trapped in a serene world full of kaleidoscopic beauty. I loved it when I first heard this beauty 45 years ago, I love it even more now. An everlasting love
The album cover hahaha They look like brothers or something who were raised correctly. That cutesy well behaved look. "Meet Ralf und Florian. Two young German whipper snappers from Dusseldorf with a knack for playing keyboard." That gee willikers look about them hahaha
This is my favourite track from the Ralf und Florian album (R.I.P. Florian Schneider). This along with some key Neu! tunes seemed to waft into my life some nostalgic yet futuristic vistas and it seems old and dusty but with an optimism I find hard to locate now.
I read on a musical mag that those album cover *was the most anti-rock aesthetic thing* in that time, but absolutely Awesome:They show em Like SCIENTIST not Musicians.
RIP Florian Schneider...thanks for the music!
Am I the only with tears in eyes when this song sounds?
I love how you can listen to this track 100 times and catch something new in it every time.
RIP Florian thanks for all the lights out headphone trips you and Ralf took me on, love the music, and this album matters and exists.
TANZMUSIK FOREVER!!! I WISH THEY WOULD PLAY THIS AT THEIR CONCERTS!!!

I heard this on John Peels late night radio show as a teenager and never heard it again until now. Magical!
Made up for you, reading this haha
Great song by these innovators. I used to have Ralf & Florion on cassette back in the 70s.
great start to side 2 of an album. lots of joy in this track!

That actually how they themselves wanted to look...as being against glam rock, David Bowie and all the extravaganza.
such a superb track :)
Thank you the germans ,thank you to have brung some incredible music, the french touch (I'm french) will be nothing without your reals bands ;)
I have this on vinal. Sounds like summer to me..

Their greatest song ever!
Thanks, one of my favorite tracks of theirs
If I ever have twin boys, I am naming them Ralf and Florian.
If you listen very very closely, you can almost hear David Byrne taking notes in the background.
J écoutais Krafwerk à 18 ans 40 ans plus tard je vois toutes les images qui remontent....
La mejor manera de empezar el día...
Thanks for all, Great Florian!
Dies ist ja fur immer das beste. (This is for ever the best) Dit is voor altijd het beste, groetjes Droxy

This sounds like a vinil LP, I has this on a tape and I spent many hours trying to play it by ear when there was not such a thing as internet.
Respond to this video...Kraftwerk are pioneers without a doubt
I used to stare at their album pictures for hours while playing their music, trying to decipher the obviously apocalyptic message.
Moi j'écoute ça à répétition ... sans fin
KRAUTROCK! :)
It Was Dance Music.

The kinda music that would be in a Wes Anderson film
Et toutes les variantes ....
@DiscoDude82 i dunno about that. Daft Punk is pretty world famous. just by how accessible the media is today, I'm sure DP has reached more audience.
well 1973 live version has something flute is calming and sounds of drums and piano are a lot better than here sorry but that's for me better version

Who the fuck is Steve Reich? ;)
The best come from Duesseldorf and the worst from Koeln!!! Ja ja ja!
I much prefer live versions of this song. This one is too fast and high pitched for my taste.
